Don't expect beauty
This is clearly a print-on-demand thing. The text quality isn't very good but you can't find her works anywhere else so on balance it's ok.

Pass the Magnifying Glass, Please!
The font size is SO small, you have to have a magnifying glass to read it. I think it was created via Amazon's Createspace. Y'ALL...it doesnt cost any more to make the font larger, and separate the stories with some white space. Only adds a few more pages!

Very good short stories about women in the mid-to-late 1800's
Impactful short stories about women in the 1800's. Very interesting to read about issues and how women thought and were treated. I read this several months ago and some of the stories have really stayed with me - thought provoking!

Excellent read
Although much of my reading during my younger years was 19th c. through 1930s, I'd never heard of Kate Chopin. No question, I missed out because she is very good. Her style is unique and simpler than most writing of her time - clean and uncomplicated. The points of the stories, although obvious, are delivered with subtlety. She gives food for thought without intensity.Chopin is a pleasure to sit down with.

Disappointed with "First Rate Publishers"
Very small font. Awkward size and very thin paperback without page numbers. Twenty pages at most. Wish I had seen the entire Chopin collection. This book has a print date of 9/18/17, which was the same day I ordered it! Was promised the Prime membership 2 day shipping at checkout but it arrived 3 days late.

Five Stars
This book contained several of Chopin's short stories but I suggest purchasing the full collection.

One Star
The font is maybe 6 pt at best. It's incredibly, unreasonably tiny.
