Perfect for the price
I bought two of these and didn't expect the quality of which was delivered for the price. They came well packed and supplied with a very easy to understand and read manual and more than enough screws and bits for assembly. The manual said it should take an hour or so to assemble each one and me being quite new to do it myself furniture found the time frame to be quite precise. They look really good and very sturdy with enough weight to them to not worry about having to move them to hoover underneath. Overall I was very happy with this purchase.

Solid and easily assembled
This was very easy to put together. Follow the instructions and use the number stickers. It's darker than the image shown, I'd read the reviews and wanted a darker wood effect and was very happy with it. This is a very sturdy piece of furniture and looks much more expensive than the price suggests. I have bought two as side tables for my bed as they stand at 61cm height and my bed is tall. I'm really happy with them and I'd highly recommend them. I'm fussy about flat pack furniture and usually have to reinforce or glue the drawers, but certainly not this time.

Lovely little unit, easy to assemble. Really substantial looking and quite weighty. Tough quality and good finish. Really pleased with it.

Pleasantly surprised - it's actually really good!
I'm surprised by how good this bedside table is, especially for the platform and the price. What a relief to get something that actually lives up to the promise of the advert! For the price (around £35), it's a great buy. Packaging is spot on. There's a lot of polystyrene, but everything arrived perfectly intact. Took about an hour to assemble single-handed, with everything included, though you'll need a cross head and flat head screwdriver of your own. There were extra / spare screws in mine, which makes a nice change, too. Instructions are clear and simple to follow if you take your time. There's quite a lot of grease on the drawer runners, so be careful while handling them (or laying them on your carpet!). Once assembled, it looks fashionably retro but feels solid. My one reservation is how sturdy the drawer bottoms are - they won't bear much weight, so consider what kind of storage you're looking for. For bedside knick-knacks, it should be fine. Again, for the price, it seems fair. So far, really pleased. Wish more items for sale were as good as this.

Solid construction, good size drawers
This is a solid, heavy piece of furniture, and the drawers are well-sized (the sides go all the way up, which seem rare these days). Instructions were easy to follow. Marked down one star because of the runners - they were heavily coated in machine oil, to the point I had to wear gloves while handling them, and now they're in situ, they won't come out even using the method the instruction book recommended (and which worked before they were screwed in).
