The hook is smooth and does slide over the yarn easy, it is a very easy handle to hold and work with. The handle is round which fits the hand and takes the stress off your hand and wrist. Looks to be made of good quality and long lasting for many years if I can keep the pups away from it. They have chewed up my last two plastic ends and I refused to buy another whole bag of difference size needles when I only needed this size lol. The plastic or rubber seems to be stronger than the other ones I have bought. It might just hold up if the pup does get a hold of it.I am very happy with this one so I bought another one to set back just in case.

I usually can't crochet for more than 20 minutes and then my finger joints start aching. But with these crochet hooks, I'm able to crochet for hours---or until I start getting bored! I tried a fair number of hooks before I settled on Clover. The hooks are THE smoothest of any on the market and stainless hooks are top shelf. What sends Clover Amour to the top is how comfortable the handle is for me. That is pretty personal.Tulip Etimo are the same level of great hook, the handle is just a bit different. I tried both and the Clover felt better for my grip. Can't go wrong, they are a perennial favorite of crocheters for a reason

I love this crochet hook, it really makes a difference compared to others. Very comfortable for people with hand issues. It does help me crochet a lot faster and without any struggle.

Just like luxury cars are known for comfort and smooth rides, this is the crochet needle equivalent. It's a great value, silky buttery smooth on the yarn glide, easy to use and very comfortable. Just the right weight and size. Thought when you're first getting used to it, it can be a tad slippery. Once you do get used to it, you'll fall in love. I hope they make this in all hook sizes so I can have a whole set.

I had heard from many crocheters that these were the best hooks and once you use them you will never go back! They were right. These glide so easily and make crocheting faster and effortless. I will never go back to another hook!

These hooks have been a lifesaver! I have arthritis, but that does not stop me from crocheting. It has definitely helped minimize the pain after a long session. Very easy to hold and wait. I love how it glides smoothly through the yarn.
