The screen itself is perfectly functional. The tools are likewise usable. The product is good, so I give 5 stars. However, be aware that the repair job is rather involved. You WILL need a heat gun to melt adhesive. The contacts loop around to attach to the back of the motherboard, so you will need to remove the front and back. Using this product successfully is an accomplishment

Installed new screen and tried to boot up my phone, got a wide red band with green stripes inside of it on right side of phone from top to bottom of the screen, then shuts down and tries to restart several times re-installed the screen to verify my work, making sure all connections were made properly, tried again to restart my phone, no luck. I took it to a cell phone repair facility and they verified that it was a bad screen. Not sure how a new screen with no apparent physical damage and is supposedly tested to be defective. will send it back for a full refund.installed the new screen and booted up my phone, the
