After spending hundreds (possibly thousands) of $$$ on all the 'well-advertised' popular whole meal powder shake combinations on the market, this one outshone them all in many categories. I've been buying this for at least 15 years and so glad I can now buy it on Amazon.When I say that this product has saved my life - I am not exaggerating.For some people, this may not be the drink for them, but for my particular situation, it is perfect.I have ulcerative colitis and often need to 'drink' my meals when there is no other method. Most of the other ''nutritional' powder drinks taste horrible to me, and this one was the only one that actually tastes great - even when I am super sick, like 'just getting out of the hospital sick'. I read one review that had issues with the calories & sugar, but when you have ulcerative colitis and desperately need calories, the calories are great - and really there aren't many calories per serving.The most important thing about this product for me, is that when I didn't want to take heavy medications to get better, I can take this instead and I have gone into full remission (to the extreme shock of my doctors!) just drinking this and eating very little else. If I am starting to get UC symptoms, I begin alternating with this & the intro SCD diet & I quickly go into remission within 2-3 weeks tops. It is very healing and also really gives me a 'burst of energy' as well as tasting like a delicious nutty, vanilla milkshake. I like drinking it with whole milk & sometimes I add small amounts of other supplemental powders for variations.I highly recommend this for anyone with zero allergies like me.

First off, I only use half a serving of this per shake that I drink. It's very nutritionally dense. Most days I only have one shake with that half serving, but when I need a boost some days I'll have a second one. This stuff tastes really good and has an indulgent creamy thick texture. It's green but it doesn't taste green, if that makes sense. It's like a dessert shake to me and it's about as filling as a light to mid-sized meal. I add half a serving of this with half a serving of a vanilla (or chocolate) collagen protein powder, and it's a delicious combo. But the Source of Life alone is delicious too. It mixes well with ice-cold liquid, but requires quite a bit of turbulence for full dissolution. So if you use a shaker bottle make sure it's not too full of liquid before shaking it up. You want the liquid to really slam and splash hard in the bottle. I add about a third of the liquid (unsweet vanilla almond milk + water) first for that vigorous shaking to dissolve the powder, then add the rest of the liquid after it's all dissolved and shake a bit more to even out the full mixture. The nutritional content of this makes it one of the most nutritionally complete shake mixes I've ever come across. I feel rejuvenated, steady, and vibrant when I've had this. I used to take the Source of Life multivitamins before switching over to this shake mix. It's pretty much the same effect for me, the vitamins have maybe a slight bit more of a pronounced energy boost, but it's negligible. The reason I switched is because I'm trying to lose weight and wanted to incorporate a meal replacement shake in my daily nutritional intake. It makes a huge difference in my life and I plan on drinking this for the rest of my life. I hope they never stop making this shake mix because no others come even close.

This stuff is amazing. Great way to supplement nutrients, that you can FEEL! Gives quite an energy burst, and makes me feel well

I've been using Source of Life Energy Shake for years now. I originally read about it from a nutritionist/health expert and gave it a shot and haven't given up on it. It's full of a ton of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, and has a pretty good taste. I use it in my oatmeal vs. taking it as a shake. The powder blends well, but needs a decent amount of water or else it gets really thick. My only gripe is that it uses soy protein (at least it's non-GMO), and I've been trying to avoid having soy too often. Good stuff overall though!

This is the best vitamin mix.

My doctor recommended this and says it's been his primary source of vitamin supplements for years. Add it to a smoothie or just mix with water and shake (or add it to yogurt for a delicious treat). The ingredients are all naturally sourced and of very high quality.I do wish they made a version without sugar, though (a common complaint).

I have been using their products since May 2021, the Natures Plus Source of Life - 180 Tablets. Over the past 3 1/2 years I have tried this powder which was awful, and the liquid which was worse. I order mine on the subscribe and save every 2 months. Because I ordered the powder before on the subscribe and save and missed taking it out, I got the product again (a $100 mistake). When I opened my order and saw what I got I went to do a return and find out that this is a non returnable item. I suffered through this product once before, and now have to again. There are too many options for multi vitamins for me to have to deal with this company. There pill form is not bad, but their other forms are. I'll just take my business else where.

Couldn't ask for better service on this one got my 5 pounds of energy vitamin drink. It was exactly what I ordered. I would order again from this company.
