Low quality

I have thrown this at walls, people, cars, windows, concrete, cactus, gravel, dirt, metal posts, signs and grass. Nothing has cracked or dented or flung off. It’s bright at 1000-1200 lumens (I think) and is running strong. The battery life, on average, last about 6 hours of constant high beam use. With using CR123 batteries, you’d expect the light to get hot but not entirely. It takes quite a while and also depends on the weather. Its length sits at about 4-5 inches and isn’t bulky at all. It fits in regular pistol mag pouches easily.

I am extremely impressed with this torch. The build quality and balance is excellent. The switch although not protected feels top quality. The power of this beam is amazing for the size. I like using the CR123a size battery. They are more resistant to leakage from my experience.

Superbe lampe

This is by far the finest flashlight I own, and I have a lot of flashlights. The case is solid and a bright yellow color to avoid getting lost. The switch is nicely spring loaded to avoid accidental turn-ons and it can be placed in a "safe" position by unscrewing the tail cap about half a turn. And is it bright! This is the first LED flashlight that I wished had a low power mode. Other than full sized searchlights, no other flashlight (ahem) holds a candle to it's beam. The light it puts out is simply amazing. The beam pattern is even, with a bright center coupled with wide periphrial illumination. Runtime is a bit short, two hours at nearly full brightness, then tapering off for an additional hour; it won't take you by surprize. Lithium CR123's by Streamlight can be purchased for less than a buck and a half each from Amazon and a spare pair weighs a mere 1.2 ounce. So carrying enough of them won't be a burden in your backpack or on your wallet. With a ten year shelf life, they'll be ready when you need them. I've purchased thirteen Streamlight flashlights in the past and they all still work. The only problem I've had was with two them dissapearing. I've developed a lot of confidence in the brand.

What a fantastic flashlight. This is the second I have owned of this model. Perfect beam pattern and very reliable rear button action. It does not stand on end but I was ok with that. Highly recommend.
