Highly recommend
I used this to make a rope bowl. It works exactly as expected for a classic sealer and glue. It dries to a nice, non-glare matte finish. Works well on wood, paper, and canvas and rope. Super easy to clean up with just soap and water while wet. The 16-ounce bottle lasts through a lot of projects. It can go on a bit thick, so you need to use smooth, even brush strokes to avoid visible lines Make sure to let each layer dry completely, or it can feel slightly tacky. Overall, it is a staple in my craft room. I would definitely recommend it to both beginners and experienced crafters.

Beautiful product with some learning curve to it
I found the product to be quite nice for sealing my coloured pencil and water-based marker artwork. They have been stored away for a couple weeks now and have had no tackiness to them since day one. So I should not need to apply anything else when it has fully cured in it's 4 week cycle. Overall I found it quite easy to use, I just needed to do some proper research online on how to properly apply this to my pages. I tested the product on Styrofoam thinking I could recycle some material, regular cardboard from a box and some hard piece of wooden material I found around the house. My best result was actually my first one with the dragons and also the result of an accident when applying the Matte Mod Podge to my page. When I applied this to the backboard I was gluing to, I accidentally set my brush in a jar of water before I was finished with it. I intended on applying another layer on the front after laying the page down first, but instead had to wait for the brush and original applications on the back to dry. It never came out with any bumps or wrinkles like my other test results came out with. However I did begin to smudge some colour in areas when I ran a protractor across the page, like a rookie with no proper equipment. I would definitely recommend letting the backside dry while your page lay on the backboard of whatever you are gluing to first, then apply the front layer and allow for it to dry. That is at least how I found it to work best in my five tests so far and found others suggesting you do in my online research as well. Now I have four large posters to do this with so I have gone and ordered a 1 Gallon jug because I just LOVE this stuff. Looking forward to sealing my bigger artwork up then get frames built for them. I colour pages from books and draw my own original art to sell and colour myself as well, so Matte Mod Podge and me are going to become good friends I believe. Oh as a final thought, I chose to reveal the brush I used when applying this stuff as well. I have now picked up some foam brushes and other tools that I hope to do a better job with, but I still loved how these came out, minus the wrinkles from not using enough Mod Podge and applying it wrong. The amount that is left in the one bottle shown is also after applying to these five colouring pages. I used four coats after the glue phase to seal each page.
