Beim Zusammenbauen des Teleprompters soll man die Scheibe so einsetzen, dass die stark spiegelnde Seite (markiert mit einem blauen Aufkleber) Richtung des Tablets zeigt. Auf meiner Scheibe war kein blauer Punkt und nach zahlreichen Tests habe ich zwischen Seite 1 und 2 auch keinen Unterschied erkennen können. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Support von Ikan hab es nur die Antwort, dass eine Seite mehr spiegelt als die andere. Das würde man sehen. Ich kann es aber bis heute nicht erkennen.

There is not really a way to angle the glass, talent often seem to have their head a bit too high. It'a also hard to fix the camera on it, because of the plate underneath.

Compré la versión original de este Teleprompter y funcionaba perfectamente pero tenía dos grandes problemas:- No quedaban las cámaras DSLR y tuvimos que hacerle una modificación, sobretodo para cámaras Mirrorless como la Sony A7s pues quedaba muy baja la base.- Era muy complicado de montar el vidrio con la base del ipad, se requerían dos manos normalmentePor azares del destino vendimos el nuestro y renovamos con la versión 2, y estos problemas ahora están solucionados. La base está pensada para cámaras más pequeñas como DSLR y mirrorless sin problemas, pero también quedan directamente cámaras como una C100. Aún así no existe una base universal, así que compramos una mas pequeña para cámaras más grandes como una sony FS7, Red, etc. El vidrio ahora viene con la base del ipad integrada, pero además es abatible, lo que lo hace mil veces más compacto y práctico. Viene además con dos telas negras con velcro para tapar los extremos del ipad que ayudan cuando hay mucho reflejo.Por lo demás es un teleprompter a prueba de fallas, durante 3 años hemos usado este teleprompter sin mayor problema, funciona correctamente, es práctico y rápido de manejarse, no falla.La aplicación puede fallar, sobretodo desconectarse del control. Pero esto es ya una falla de la aplicación, no del teleprompter en si. Preferimos usar un teclado bluetooth que hace la edición de textos mil veces más ágil y además puedes controlar las funciones de la aplicación desde ahí

Seemed to be a very limited choice of such devices at the time, so it was chosen out of desperation. Quality was good, however a simplistic device and extremely overpriced for what it is with limited adjustment for variety of cameras that would be used. I did contact the support line, but was never able to get a response sufficient for satisfactory use of the item. It sits unused in my closet, regretfully!

I bought this on a Monday after viewing on Friday and price went up $300. over weekend. Tired quite awhile to get remote to work and then got thru to help at IKAN (joke). Apparently remote is not compatible with latest Ipad update. Hopefully software update will be coming soon as it is useless as a remote system. Wish I would have known before I purchased and I would have purchased something else.
