Excellent jars! perfect size. it's hard to find extra large ones that are truly big enough and these were great. I ordered 2 and used them to store my dogs' food on the counter rather than having huge bags lying around and this holds enough to feed my large dog 3.5 cups a day for over a week and my small dog's food for a month. When they first arrived, one was broken and it was quickly and easily exchanged. Lids fit snugly. The only thing I don't like it the texture of the lids, which it was smooth but it's a matte very slightly rough metal but that's just my personal preference! DEFINITELY would buy again

I purchased 2 of these jars to use in our little laundry closet for laundry pods. Super sturdy jar and the top is made of a sturdy meta top. I also purchased a larger jar to use for our coffee keurig pods..very useful, beautiful glass jars!

Bought this to store cat food in. I was a bit disappointed in the quality as anchor Hocking products usually seem very sturdy. This seems like it might break if I dropped it. There are two visible seams running up the jar that show where the two halves were attached. Some bubbles in the glass as well. As for the lid, the seal on the inside seems flimsy and the handle on the top is not metal but plastic that warps easily. I will still use it and see how long it lasts.

Purchased these on March 17th 2020 - Im just getting around to putting my rice in this container and saw that the top knob eas loose on the lid. I barely turned it and the weld on the knobe at the screw broke. Not sure how I'm going to get the lid on and off now as the seal on these are really tight. For the amount of money paid, I would expect higher quality from this brand. Hoping the seller will send a new one out as this is unacceptable.

Okay so I love the look and the glass part of the jar is heavy and sturdy which is great however the black lid is very cheaply made and the inside of it has a rubber seal that is very flimsy and when i went to watch the lid without even submerging the lid in the sink, this little rubber seal came right off and even though i placed it back around the lid, it doesn't really seal anymore. I would probably opt to buy a jar that doesn't come with that lid, the glass part of the jar is great but the lid is not ideal.
