These brushes have been surprisingly awesome! My two & three year old love “doing their makeup” while I am doing mine which aka means grabbing mommy’s good makeup brushes & running off with them & losing them. So I purchased this set for them to play with because it was cheap & had a ton in the set so I could give them a few at a time & then when they broke them (because I assumed they wouldn’t be good quality) or lost them I would have some more set aside to give them to keep them out of mine. BOY was I surprised when these arrived! They are super soft & so far none of them have broken or lost any bristles. Remember these are being used by TODDLERS so that says a lot that they haven’t broken or gotten crazy haired bristles lol. I have actually set some aside to use myself because they are that nice! It doesn’t hurt that they are also super cute! I would definitely recommend these brushes!!

Sometimes you get what you pay for, and in that regard I'd say these are a good deal. Out of the twenty, the largest brush was a hot mess, the bristles are nice and soft but it was cut so wonky I don't even know. I trimmed it a little and I mean??? Not sure, but fortunately I don't really use brushes of that size, so it's okay. The very fine brushes were bent to uselessness, so that was two I can't use. Four of the brushes had stray hairs I trimmed off, which is totally acceptable to me. And two of the ferrules are loose and I'll have to figure out how to fix those but it's probably doable. So for six bucks I ended up with fourteen brushes that are better than decent, which isn't bad at all. I like the color of the handles. Personally I don't use those eyebrow things, and I think it's funny that two of the brushes are those old fashioned eyeshadow pouncer things because honestly those are underrated tools, especially for getting a nice touch into the corner of your eyes. Anyway, your mileage may vary.

I got these at the same time as I got another set from another company. They were both around the same price. These ones are significantly better than the others. They actually work pretty well. I’m especially impressed with the smaller ones. I’m also pretty rough with my brushes. And so far these have held up. I wouldn’t use this set as my primary makeup brushes, but they’re excellent as a backup or if you need to throw it in your purse and don’t want to risk messing up your nicer ones.
