Great Understanding of YOGA
A very good book for a beginner which addreses key questions of a beginner to yoga practice and also motivates them by providing with some asanas that are comparatively easy to do. Further this book mentions the real nature of Yoga and Yogis. Fast and simple to read. Can complete the book in two hours. Very interesting read. Thanks for the book Emily.

It just have a introduction of yoga methods. Amd pose discription are good but very limited.

By definition, yoga is a Hindu system that aims at achieving the spiritual union of your inner self with the Supreme Being in the form of complete tranquility and awareness. The practice of yoga began over 5,000 years ago in Northern India; although some researchers say the training goes as far back as 10,000 years ago. After the pre-classical yoga era came the classical yoga era; this new era was led and defined by the father of yoga himself, Patanjali’s. Then came the modern period, which started in the 1800s and 1900s; in this era, the yoga masters started spreading the practice of yoga to the west. Today the practice of yoga is widespread, and there are numerous ways of practicing it; from outdoor venues, schools, community centers, gyms, and studios to social media channels like YouTube and online videos. Useful guide forever.

I thought i would read a few pages and see how i go and couldn't stop till i finished. This is an incredible book which gives great clarity on all the yoga poses you will need to get you started, i don't see how you couldn't want to start yoga after reading this. Like This Book !!!!
Excellent book. I am a weight lifter and very inflexible so this has been a great addition to my physical health and fitness. The flow of the routine is great and Jessica explains each step very well. I tried the energizing flow once so far and I wouldn’t say it was easy for a first timer but I was able to complete it. I enjoy the scenery of the video and Jessica is great! Definitely worth the value! Highly recommend this book.
