Gargoyles 85's Shield Sunglasses For Men

I am super critical of products... these SURPASS any expectation. The quality is AMAZING, super crisp optics, very comfortable. I am a former Army MOUT instructor, and I have tried on my share of sunglasses for shooting and for wearing suits. THESE accomplish both roles in one excellent pair of sunglasses. If you want a high quality pair of sunglasses, that perform well and look great, get these. JUST GET THEM, you'll love them.

Great pair of sunglasses that harkens to the 1980s without feeling overly retro. I had a pair in the early 1990s and while I liked them, they felt a bit too big. These seem like they are right-sized and well made! I always liked their modern look, without going to far over the edge like an Oakley pair from then tended to. $70 feels about right for these.

Feeling like I’m driving the #3 car. But I’d had some Goyles in the 90’s and loved em. I saw these and grabbed em for protective eyewear for pickleball and they’re perfect

Yeah, I partly wanted them because The Terminator made me obsessed with them in middle school, but I also love the functionality.Optics are great - I have Ray Ban, Oakley, Serengeti, etc., and these lenses are just as clear. They're my new biking glasses now.Things to note (for those that have never owned Gargoyles): the spot where the end pieces meet the lens on either side are polished, so you'll have 2 spots in your peripheral vision. It doesn't bother me, but something to be aware of, if that would be bothersome. Also these don't have spring hinges. I have a pretty large head (23.5in circumference), however, and they fit fine.Lastly the lenses are thick (and possibly ANSI rated - I don't remember) and could probably stop a bb that was shot at my eye. I won't be testing that.

Playing Pickleball, and wearing these glasses. … I was hit by a very hard fast paced ball directly in the eye … and didn’t feel a thing … really this was quite amazing. I immediately ordered a second pair as I wouldn’t want to be without these specific glasses.They have never fogged up unlike my previous glasses … and are very comfortable. A+++

Should have bought several while they were on sale. Fit my face perfectly!

As a motorcyclist, I was wearing Gargoyles before the Terminator movie was released. I like the style and they are highly functional, so I purchased this pair on April 28. On May 31, I opened my Gargoyles case; imagine my surprise when I removed the glasses and saw the right arm laying there in the case. It had fallen off while zipped up safely inside the case. Of course, the return window closed on May 29. I hear that these things have a warranty, but I can’t find any info on how to use it.

３５年位前にテレビ番組でターミネーターを観てサングラスの記憶が鮮明残り、巷にガーゴイルズサングラス出回り出したが平成元年位かなぁ？20,000円前後してましたよ！！当時ルナグレイとブラウンを購入する・・・でもなんか劇中と違うだよなぁ・・・VHS静止画像が限界解像度で詳細が困難でした！平成10年位インターネットで通販サイトでガーゴイルズ購入出来るようになり早、９個目到達！！85Sはパイロットサングラス所有！雲の上の太陽光で威力を発揮する濃黒ですが！ようやく！劇中に近いコレコレ！ブラウンブロンズ！ゲット！Blu-rayで確認！ルナグレイとかミラーではないです。ガーゴイルズ此のバージョンはいったい何種類あるんだろう！？劇中は標準サイズかな？でもタッパ低いジャパンは85Sだね！・・・１８０センチオーバーなら標準サイズでもいいかもね！でもセンター部分眉間が初期型と違うが致命的・・・自作するかなぁ！？そこだけ！(笑)

自分のイメージとは若干違ったレンズの色合いでしたが、元々私はこのサングラスが大好きで、このモデルで三個目です。なので違和感なく使ってます。このフィット感は最高です！
