Works great, smells even better!
Works great, smells even better!I’ve tried a lot of mosquito repellents, but this one has quickly become my favorite. The balm is the perfect size to keep in my purse, so it’s always on hand when I’m out and about. Application is easy and mess-free, and unlike sprays, I don’t have to worry about it leaking or getting everywhere. What really sets this apart is the scent. It’s fresh, light, and surprisingly pleasant—so much so that I’ve had people ask me what perfume I’m wearing after I’ve applied it! It’s nice to use a repellent that doesn’t smell harsh or chemical-like, but still does the job of keeping mosquitoes away.I’ve already repurchased and will continue to keep this stocked. If you want a natural mosquito repellent that’s effective, portable, and smells good enough to get compliments, this is it.

It works, and smells better than chemical repellents.
Mosquitos, ticks, and chiggers line up and buy tickets to bite my husband, but generally don't bother me. I bought this for him, and had to start using myself, because they won't get near him now. I got swarmed with mosquitos and had chigger bites, plus found a few attached ticks the first time he used it. Now we both use it and aren't hearing that whiny buzz or getting itchy bites. Essential oils for the win! This stuff really works. I put a swipe of it around my leg just above the ankle, on each side of my neck, and on each arm. The solid form is easy to put where it's needed. We also bought the spray, which also works, but like sprays do, it goes where the breeze takes it, and isn't easy to use on the neck area. These are pocket-sized, not big. The spray is 4 oz. But the relief from insects is HUGE.

Smells Great
I have not tried this yet in a natural environment but, it works well on city mosquitoes. It feels like it may help my painful hands.

Keeps bugs away
This balm works really well.I put a dab on each shoulder on the back of my hands and on the top of my feet and those nasty little mosquitoes do not bother me when I’m sitting outside or in my living room. Pleasant aroma.

Good Product needs better packaging
I like the product. I purchased this cream so that I wouldn't have to spray Murphy's around my face. However, the little can is extremely difficult to open, hence only three stars. I think some kind of screw top packaging would be way better.

A summer bag must have
Ever since we discovered Murphys Repellent we haven't bought any other brands of bug repellent. This stuff smells great and is made of natural oils. You can feel safe putting this on your skin. I'm so happy they have this in a balm stick it is so much easier to apply and open up compared to the tin I had before. These sticks are perfect size to throw in your hip pack , purse, or pocket. I seriously don't go anywhere without it during bug seasons. I work outdoors and it is a MUST HAVE for me.

Excellent Deet free product
This is a great product. It is all natural, there is no deet and it works better than other products that contain deet. Its long lasting, even though the hot summer sweating days. I originally got this to use on my 140 lb giant tortious, and it works great on him, but I use it too.

Very Stiff, Too much beeswax, not enough olive oil?
Wow, this stuff smells really lemony strong. Kind of like old-fashioned furniture polish if I may say so, but undoubtedly less toxic. I had a hard time getting any at first so I stabbed it with my fingernail to get it started. I think it should be softer which is why I think less beeswax, more olive oil. I have put it on my feet and ankles because that's where I'm getting bitten (Aedes mosquitoes) when I wear sandals. Will complain here if it doesn't work. If it does, you can assume no changes means it worked. Also, I have a feeling the base is probably water-resistant, but maybe the smell will go away if you soak too long.
