The Langstroth holds up very well we are very pleased with its performance we really like that it’s already dipped in beeswax as far as assembly on scale of 1 to 10 it gets a 9 the coated lids look great and are a great addition to our bee farm it’s worth the money their is no assembly needed it’s ready to install

I ordered two of these units along with another brand. After unpacking and inspection I'm very pleased with the attention to detail and design features of all the woodenware especially the top cover and bottom boards. The wood joints, cut quality of all the wood, and the little features like the screen installation for the bottom board (inset) is really good. Compared to the other brand (wax dipped as well) Hoover is a good product and solid. I'll definitely take these parts to my next monthly bee club meeting for review. I have not had a chance to get boxes yet but hope in the near future.

I’m on my 3rd year with the Hoover hives and I’m very pleased.I went back and forth on the painted vs the bee wax coating and I decided on the bee wax coating and am very happy that I did.The assembly was very straightforward and simple. I choose the use both wood glue and a finish nail gun instead of any provided nails. This makes for a much better experience, and provides extended longevity.So far I’ve pulled honey several times without any issues. Highly recommended!
