Excellent writing
Superb writing experience. The pen is quite light, balance not an issue. It's thin at about 10mm diameter. The barrel has matte finish, so you have a good grip while writing. Important for me as a left handed writer, there is absolutely no smudging whatsoever. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get this pen to smudge, ever, at all. I don't know how they create ink that dries so quickly. Cartridge writes very smoothly. The click mechanism is quiet, and quite smooth.

Quality pen
The gift pen was for a 70th birthday for a friend whom last name was Schmidt. The pen was nicely displayed in a case. When using the pen it flowed swiftly evenly across the stationary, without any drip marks. Even a person with poor penmanship the high quality pen had a steady flow of ink, which help turning your writing letters into beautiful penmanship. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Writting Tool
The Schmidt Rollerball Pen is a light weight, but very stable pen. Maintains a good grasp in the hand and its weight lets you dictate the writing pattern. Its ink cartridge delivers excellent flow of ink.This pen is shall I say…on point.

Hampered by the click
Great ink, great feel, solid design. But man, that click is awful. Frequently misaligns leading to a ‘misclick’ where the pen fails to retract or extend. This mean you have to force the click harder to correct. Great pen ruined by the issues with the click.

SCHMIDT Capless Rollerball Pen, Anodized Green (SC82187) is very easy to use. I like it better that having take a cap off, push it onto the back of the pen. Then reverse the process when finished writing. Just click the button at the rear of the pen to use it and click again to retract the writing head back into the pen for safe keeping until the next use. The Schmidt refills are the best.

Didn't Like it that Much
This pen looks nice but feels cheap. Doesn't have any heft to it. Also the click action is very weak... And it's waaay overpriced.

Great pen that writes beautifully from Pens by Lanier
I love the pen, love the ink cartridges and that I can get refills in several colors. I will be buying from Pens by Lanier again!!
