Had to return because it was to short, but looked like it was well constructed. It didn't say in the description the length, but it is only about three inches long. Didn't try to install because was obvious it was too short. Can't say anything bad since it wasn't installed. Just make sure of the length. Model was only off slightly. I have a predator hellios 300 ph317-51 only a little off, I thought from the item listing. Make sure you get it right.

I included two pictures with this review, the first is the new item a small box, with the old OEM item outside next to the box. Clearly it's much longer than the OEM. The install was still very simple, however. 2nd picture shows how I had to S-curve it a bit to make it fit, but that took a few seconds at most, and the hold-down bracket (not put back on yet in the picture) lined up perfectly. I kept the old one with other books, etc. from this laptop, just in case I need it, but this one seems good so far.

First of all, it's too short to be installed, so it's useless. Secondly, the pin was bent on mine, so I couldn't have used it anyways.

The charging port does not fit in the laptop well at all. It has to be bent to fit but it does work perfectly with the oem charger and it charges the computer so I'm not too bothered.

A bit longer than the original but it still fits by bending a little. No need to surrender and wait for days because a service center need to purchase the parts first.

Like the other reviewers said a little longer than the original piece, but with some bending to get it in it did work.

the wires for this item is 1 inch too short for the ph317-53. Product information is incorrect, this sucks

Cable works but it's a half inch longer than the factory power cable . Really tough to get it to fit, had to bend it really hard in almost a Z pattern.My model is predator helios ph315-52
