This thing does fine for powering & charging my Eclipse 5 POC in a car as long as I'm using pulse mode or 2LPM or less continuous.You have to pull the plug out when you're starting your car. BUT: the DC power plug is completely smooth. There's nothing to grip when pulling it out of the lighter socket. And if you pull it by the wire, the wire will pull out of the plug and it's unrepairable.You have to very gently rock it out of the car's power outlet. It takes a little while and it's annoying.The slick surface on the DC plug seems designed to make sure the wire will be pulled out and force one to replace it. That's just mean.I'm thinking I'll use a file to score grooves around the wire end of the plug so I'll have something to grip. If they care about their customers they'll change the DC plug design and put some grippy bits on the end so one can pull it out without damaging the thing.
