Nice remote

Worked like a charm out of the box after reprogramming the dip switches. I'm using it with a Hunter fan/lamp.

I replaced this remote with my original one that quit working. It worked great almost immediately out of the box. Set up was easy & quick. It only took two very easy adjustments. I was worried I would have to tear my ceiling fan apart. That never even had to happen. Very happy with this purchase. Also it got here quickly so i wasn’t without my celling fan for long at all.

I had stepped on the original remote control for an older model ceiling fan with lights from Hampton Bay. Upon researching replacement remotes not being too optimistic, came across this item. Bought it based on its high 4+ star rating and thousands of purchases already listed. It arrived quickly and worked like the original remote right out of the box!! I did keep the broken remote to be able to see the existing dip settings on the old remote in case those were needed for setting up. original remote had factory set dip settings and the new remote arrived matching those. there are instructions to help you change those settings if it doesn't immediately work out if the box but I didn't need to make any changes. Finally, I could operate the ceiling fan. I had turned off the light and had the 3 speed fan set on medium before accidentally shattering the original remote and learned I could not manually access the fan or the light with just their pull cords. the new remote also looks identical to the original remote just without the Hampton Bay logo sticker. Highly recommend since it's near impossible to replace an original remote for a ceiling fan that is 17+ years old and still working like its new.

So easy to program! Great cost effective replacement! Just click the little tabs on the inside to match the ones in the one you are replacing.

I thought I would have to replace the fan. I just looked up the code and replaced it. No problem works perfectly. I had the previous one for 20 years plus didn’t think they’d still make them.

Does not include foam in battery compartment to prevent battery from changing transit channels when dropped. Otherwise works well.

I bought this remote (pictured right) as a replacement for my previous Hampton Bay remote (pictured left) I've had for over 20 yrs. My previous remote buttons became worn and no longer worked. This new remote works great, an almost exact replica of my previous remote w/o Hampton Bay logo. I just needed to place a 9V battery. I did not need to perform any syncing with the transmitter and receiver. Works great! I would buy this remote from same seller in the future!
