- 1st Purchase -I have 2 old iPhone 6 and wanted to keep them as media players but the battery no longer hold charge like they used to, so I decided to replace the existing original battery with this. I bought one first, so I can try. I'm glad I did, it's an easy Install and now my battery holds longer charge than before. The provided tools are exactly what you need to complete the disassembly and replacement. First, watch the instructional video - Simply scan the provided QR Code which corresponds to your specific model, this battery purchase was for iPhone 6. Very easy disassembly and replacement of battery, just do exactly as the instructional video. This first replacement went smoothly, so I purchased another one from the same vendor "Congto", it's sold by "Amazon". Giving this a 5 Star.- 2nd Purchase -Following the first successful installation, I purchased another one. Altho I had a problem taking out the original battery of the second iPhone where the tape backing on the bottom of battery broke as I was pulling it out, it has nothing to do with this battery purchase. Be careful pulling out the tape backing from the original battery. So I had to pry out the original battery, it was stuck very firmly, I've had a hard time prying out the original battery even tho I had generously heat it up with the blower. After taking out the old battery, replacement went ok. Be careful with putting back the small tiny screws, they're too tiny that I lost a screw and couldn't find it. In spite of the little problems encountered on the 2nd replacement, everything else went smooth. Battery is now holding charge better than before. I'm also giving the second purchase another 5 Star, 2 Thumbs up, and a Thank You Very Much to the Seller.

Battery was 50% when delivered , charged it to 100% and it holds charge like new phone. Its a job to take old battery out. I used a clothes iron to heat up back of iphone just 1 min and it allowed me to pry it out slowly. Used plastic tool and flathead screwdriver to slowing keep pressure and it came out. I left screen wires attached and just flipped screen up was all.Comes with 3 torx size for all screws on phone. 6,7,8

This is a good kit and the battery seems very capable (so far).Installation is not too hard if you are handy. You should be good with teeny screws - take your time and don’t drop any. You probably will never find it. That said, the tools provided work well.There are good U-tubes that show the process.The worst part is prying the old battery out. Make sure you have a heat gun. Heat up the back of the phone in the battery area and then let the heat sink in. Don’t over-heat, but repeat several times to get the adhesive good and warm. Then pry out the battery slowly.The kit comes with replacement adhesive strips that I just discarded and used Scotch double stick tape instead. It works fine and will make the next replacement a snap.

The battery works well so far (two weeks). There is a good installation video for the new battery on YouTube but it is slightly sync with the kit. The tools provided are similar to those in the video, and you can figure it out, but you can't follow the video "exactly" because the tools are different. The kit also has some sort of plastic membrane included. This membrane is likely meant to be installed over or under the new battery, but the video doesn't mention it. I just left this membrane out because I didn't know where it should be installed. The iPhone is working well without it.Overall, this was a good battery at a good price, with a workable installation video. I am happy with my purchase.

Installation not too difficult but utterly pointless. Doesn’t even store a charge for 8 hours where the phone is doing nothing - airplane mode, Wi-Fi off, no screen use and the battery is dead after 4-5 hours.Waste of money.Do NOT buy

The new IPhone 6 battery arrived as promised and fit perfectly. No installation instructions were included but there are several good videos available on the internet.

My original Apple OEM battery was swollen and I was worried my old phone, with its invaluable headphone jack, was lost. How fortunate for me that I could use this reasonably priced and comprehensive package to rescue me. Contains all of the tools I needed to get the job done. The instructions in their YouTube video were excellent and essential (link included in the package). I only installed the battery yesterday, so time will tell whether it holds up in the long run, but so far the new battery is holding the charge very well.

The battery seems good. Time will tell.There were issues with my installation. It isn’t hard, really, to replace a phone battery, but you’re working with tiny, fragile parts. I had black lines on my screen and the touch screen didn’t work at first. There was tiny debris (couldn’t see it without a magnifying glass) near a connector, and a bit of adhesive on a ribbon cable. After carefully removing them and being Uber careful to get the connectors all back on well, it worked!
