Hooke Road Wrangler CB Antenna Spare Tire Mount Compatible with Jeep JK Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited 2007-2018

I didn't install this exactly according to the directions. Doing that would have caused the antenna to hit the garage door frame when I parked the Jeep. So I installed it a couple of inches lower.I did take off one star for the ease of installation. Yes, it is very easy to install once you have removed the heavy spare tire. (Which is even worse when you have to put the spare back on the Jeep).Anyway, it is on, is sturdy, and is holding the antenna just where I wanted it to be.

I installed mount as shown with the 4ft FireStik Antenna and found it was too high for my jeep to go in and out of the garage. So I changed the mount upside down ...moved it to catacorner bracket... See image... cut a notch so the screw holes lined up...see image..works great. Hope this helps...

This works great for holding my CB. I haven’t used it for holding a phone except to try it out and the spring seems strong enough. Great out of the way location for the CB which is within easy reach.

Put it on a 2018 JK jeep removed existing bolts just for the fun and vibration I put two rubber washers next to jeep put existing bolts back in. I did remove the spare tire if you wanted to fight it you could leave it on but a lot easier to remove tire and put it back on

This made mounting my cb antenna a snap. Fit fine between tire and tailgate and looks good doing it.

It's nice and sturdy. But not compatible with my Smittybilt Atlas rear bumper/tire rack. It's not tall enough.

Works as it should, great price.

Worked for my jk. Just shave off the painting on the drill point where it meets the body. Around 1.6 with my 3ft firestik.
