Q: Do these increase the sound of your turbo like the 6673 air filter for your 7.3

It did not on my 2000 F250 7.3. However, the filter worked great. It was easy to clean and over the 60k miles I used it i found it to function better than oem with greater airflow

Q: Will this replace the FA1757 filter on a 7.3L 99' f250? this filter has rounded corners and like 6" tall.

This filter is about 1.5 inches thick and looks nothing like the filter FA1757.

Q: does this replace 33-2138

You better ask K&N. The 33-2138 was discontinued some time back (2 yrs?) and I don't see any crossovers to the 33-2248 in any of the old price sheets. tech@knfilters.com or 800-858-3333
