Definitely a good purchase.
Not only is the price a great one compared to some other bench vises of similar size but it's sturdy (for a china build I believe) and as long as you don't take a sludgehammer to it full out swinging it trying to win a prize by getting the bell to ring (like at carnivals for strength test) only kidding, but no really don't sledgehammer it. And the grip of clamp face is excellent and the tension bar is heavier than some (in a good way) I did a custom build using this vice by welding and attaching to a steel plate via heavy bolts then welded to heavy steel pipe which is seated into a small (I think it's only 1 gal) propane tank after carefully relieving pressure and nozzle from tank the steel pipe slid right in and I welded and reinforced while cutting a hole in top of tank to be able to add water/sand or someday pour some molten lead down in it but if I do that I'll have to add some heavy duty wheels to it but as of now it's an amazing and supppppperrrr useful portable bench vise I can move where ever I'm working on the garage at the moment. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Muy buena calidad a buen precio.
No es fácil encontrar un tornillo de calidad a este precio, muy práctico que se pueda girar, va muy suave.

Good little vice.
Bought this for my shed just for cutting the odd bit of wood and holding bits and pieces steady and I've found it to be an extremely robust little vice for the money. Reassuringly heavy and bolts well to my bench, love the swivel on it extremely handy to have. Be aware you will have to buy separately some long bolts to fix it down but I got some on here that fit perfectly.

Template sucks!
The device itself is pretty solid and heavy so I think it will work for my small scale DIY tasks. The given paper template to help drill mounting holes... are not even aligned to the actual item! Once I aligned one mounting hole, the other 2 will never be aligned to the template. By NOT aligning the vice mounting holes to the template I can still clamp a vertical piece of wood w/o hitting the bench. This bad design is caused the the inner jaw aligned exactly to the base when it should be around half inch beyond, so that vertically clamped objects will not hit the table. Disappointed cuz other TEKTON products I purchased were of solid quality.Update: Finally got the vice mounted on my cheap-ass "workbench" w/o using the crap template. Basically I just position the vice such that a vertical piece of wood can be clamped on front side w/o hitting the table, then use a 8mm drill bit to drill into one mounting hole first w/o removing the vice.Note: A 3/8" drill bit cannot go thru the vice mounting hole.Used M8 bolt, nut, spring washer and flat washer to tighten it up, then repeat for the other 2 holes. End result is a vice securely mounted. Note only front side can hold long vertical objects. When swivel to the left side that object will hit table edge
