Condor Modular Vest (Black)

I really like Condor products for the price and have had several for many years, which is why I decided on this vest over many other options. Despite some of your "hard core" guys saying they are only airsoft quality, what I have has held up well. The vest has a lot of good things about it. Its well made and sturdy, with good tight molle. The down side is, this vest is made for little guys. I'm 6'2", 200 lbs, and a 34 to 36 in the waist. I let the sides out to fit and there is a 2-3 inch gap on both sides between the front and back of the vest. Also, as you will read in some of the negative reviews, there is a lot of bulk in the adjustments at the top of the shoulder and so far, I don't think breaking it in will make it much better. This cuts down on some mobility and will poke you in the neck a little when reaching up. It maybe different if you're smaller. All in all, I still like it and have no issues shouldering my rifle. It will definitely suit my needs.

We ordered two of these vests, and both arrived timely and in good condition. I was incredibly impressed with the quality construction of the vest. It is very sturdy, and the material is very thick and appears durable. It is a very heavy duty vest, and should stand up to a lot of wear and tear. I really liked that the PALS webbing allowed me to customize the vest and put things where we wanted them. I have some other gear, such as a duffle, that has PALS webbing on it that aren't done correctly, and don't align with other pieces of gear, but this vest's webbing is perfect. The vest allowed me to set up a weak-hand draw on my backup pistol, while still being able to shoot my rifle on my right shoulder. If I had bought one of the pre-setup vests in left hand holster draw, it would have put all sorts of pouches in the way for shouldering my rifle on the right. So this vest was the perfect solution. The PALS across the back will still allow the attachment of a bladder (get the Condor brand with its case), and you can attach your duty belt (Condor again) to the vest with its keepers. I have a variety of pouches installed, and each vest is configured to the users unique needs, which is a plus. The only downside is that it does not fit! Yeah, I am overweight, but now under 250, and I still cannot buckle the bottom buckle, let alone zip it up. I have all of the side straps extended, but it still won't fit. While this has motivated me to lose some pounds and get rid of my gut, a few more inches on the straps on each side shouldn't be a huge ask, nor cost that much in the manufacturing of the vest. It would fit a lot more people and should reduce returns. It would also allow for some room to put a ballistic vest on under it, like some of the larger vests will allow or to wear some light duty cold weather clothing under it, like a hoodie. That isn't happening for me for a long time. This vest fits somewhere around a 44 to 46 inch chest. I understand that their hydration vest is larger, but it does not include the zipper front, and the material is a mesh, not a solid canvas-type material. There are pros and cons to that, as the mesh may be cooler in hot weather. But I doubt that the mesh material is anywhere near as durable as the canvas type material. If this vest will fit you, then it is a good bargain and I highly recommend it. If you are on the large side, whether over weight a bit like me, or just a very large person, then be aware that the vest just might not fit. I have bought a lot of Condor products, and I must say that I have been happy with the quality of all of them. And while I will be able to eventually get into this vest, I really do wish it was a lot larger than it is. I would have paid a little extra for that ability. Condor, are you listening?

It fits great and the quality is excellent. It is also adjustable to your preferred size/fit. It definitely looks cool and will make you look cool. I just don't like the rubbery smell it has after opening it from the plastic packaging so beware of that. I bought this because other body protection for paintball is way overpriced. Do not also forget that this is a tactical vest, so it has that benefit that you can't get from paintball body armors/jerseys. If you are just using it for protection and do not want to do any clean up, just wear something over it, but that defeats part of it being a tactical vest.

Does exactly what I was hoping it would. My only gripe would be that it is awfully stiff in the shoulder area and when I aim a handgun it squeezes my neck a little too much for comfort. It will need some breaking in. Otherwise, great vest and well made for the price. If you want something fancy, order the 5.11 version. I think this would suit most people's needs just fine though.

i use mine as a first responders have first responders pouches both sides radio pouch left side an emt glove pouch right side fist aid kit pouch back on the upper section an use a pistol pouch for hand sanitizer all is condor molle pouches except belt an pistol mag i run a throat mic on for a better hearing without worrying about hearing obstruction all condor is top quality definitely gonna get more

I want to give this 5 stars, but......the zipper goes 3/4 up and stops. I feel the zipper is cheap enough that if I force it it will break. Also, the shoulder straps. I had to adjust this vest to the smallest fit and these shoulder straps are a terrible design and it wasn't even obvious how to adjust them. I now have a lot of scratchy Velcro inside the vest shoulders exposed and when I go to put my vest on, the Velcro scrapes up my knuckles. I tried very hard to find instructions somewhere on adjusting this and could not. What I will say is it has been hard finding a small enough vest. I'm (woman) 5'3 135lbs and boobs unfortunately don't get in the way so being able to adjust this to fit me with just a light shirt on makes it worth every flaw. I can also adjust it for over my winter work coat which is bulky. Tons of molle for storage pouches etc. After the vest I was wearing, this one is super comfy and I imagine it won't be so stiff after more wear. Also very happy I chose to swap out the over the head one for this because I can get it on quickly and not have to take my glasses or hat off first. If you intend to use the loops to attach to your duty belt so you can take on and off as one unit, apparently you'll need a longer torso than I because when I tried, the vest bunched up on top of my duty belt and hindered getting to my pew pew.

Ein sehr gutes Produkt kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Die nähten halten hervorragend. Vorallem kann man nach Wunsch die MAG Pouches dran machen. :)
