I've purchased this brand of Chana Dal several times. It always arrives quickly, in good condition and they cook up nicely in my crockpot. I make a recipe from my Trim Healthy Mama book called "All Day Chana Dal Soup". MmmmMMMM! So good! The whole family loves it and in addition to being delicious it's weightloss promoting!

Package arrived with a lot of odd looking beetles in it. They had chewed through the bag and were in the box used for shipping. The Chana Dal had lots of peas with holes chewed through them as well. Now I know why this brand was a lot cheaper. Don't buy!!
