Bio Tears Oral Gel Caps for Dry Eye, 120 count

Love love love the product, hate the company that produces it. Call, leave a message, no one returns your call(even when calling twice). And, this is the second time they're backordered, the company, thus all over! I've been out for a few days and my eyes are hurting me so bad. Sharp pains, burning, dry, can barely keep them open to watch TV, read, anything. I have scarring on my eyes from a botched surgery so I need this product and feel so frustrated this has happened again with no word when they might be available(nor will the company return my call!)

This is the second or third review I've done on Bio-Tears and each time I rate them as excellent. If your eyes are dry, (mine were extremely dry) swallow 2 capsules twice a day for 2 months and then 2 a day thereafter. They are somewhat expensive, $33.00 a month when taking 2 a day. Since I have Sjrogens, (dry eyes and dry mouth from MCTD), they are well worth the cost.

I've suffered with extreme dry eyes for years. I was buying boxes and boxes of various dry eye drops every month (& still suffering) until my (new) eye doctor recommended BioTears. Through trial & error, I found that 4 capsules daily has made an AMAZING improvement in my symptoms. I still occasionally use OTC dry eye drops, but much less frequently. BioTears work very well for me.

I have been "diagnosed" with dry eyes for 10+ years by my eye doctor and have been using BioTears for those years. Although I have plugs in my eyes, they are not sufficient to manage my dry eyes. When I run out of BioTears, I can really tell the difference. I have tried many different eye drops and they are all uncomfortable and often hurt, so having something I can use that is not an eye drop is really great for me. My eye doctor once had me try a different supplement, when he stopped carrying BioTears can't recall what it was but it was twice as expensive, so I'm delighted that I can find this product on Amazon.

These pills, hands down, changed the quality of my life in less than a week. I will not be without them. I have ocular rosacea and my eyes were so dry that i couldn't even open them in the morning. Since taking these, I no longer put in drops four times a day ... I don't have to use drops at all! And the eye gel I put in at night I only put in because I'm afraid not to but my eyes open beautifully now. If you have dry eyes, I can't recommend highly enough. And if you have ocular rosacea, check out Rosacia-ltd IV. An equally wonderful product and very helpful website that recommends drinking LOTS of water.

Taken for 40 days now finally a vitamin that works! 2 weeks after taking I felt a difference! Was getting sandy feeling then felt like a rock in my eyes . Happening 3 to 4 days a week. Then lasting longer about 5hrs. Gels and drops didn't work a bag full! Other eye vitamins didn't work either! Desperate I read Bio Tears stories from other people on page thought what else is left? Order it and hoped for the best!After 2 weeks I noticed a big difference..but didn't want to get to excited! Well reordered this vitamin I still get a rock in eye feeling or sandy feeling weekly. But it isn't that bad and eyedrops stop it! I'm expecting it to stop for much longer periods of time as I continue this beauties and will go away for ever! ☺

I was trying to compare different supplements for my dry eye condition caused by my inefficient meibomian glands. These glands are helped by finding the right supplement for my eyes.I compared BioTears to my original Thera tears supplements and I found it to work somewhat ok when I was consistent with the regimen.The cost is almost double the cost of the Thera tears and I have noticed that it causes obvious diarrhea and more belching of fishy smell.It was also harder for me to make sure to take it twice a day with meals when I know my thera tears was only once daily.I had bought this product to compare and to see what all the hype was about, but at the end of the day I found the other product more convenient.I will also conclude that I am not hired by anyone for this review, I'm just a customer who is desperate like any other dry eye customer to find eye relief and a normal quality of life.Now everyone may find different responses from this product and possibly different side effects, so I can't say not to try this product.I hope this review helps you.

I've been taking BioTears caps for years now for my dry eyes/Sjogren's Syndrome. It's the only thing that really really works and keeps my eyes moist. In fact, they work so well that I usually only need to take 2 caps a day instead of the recommended 4 caps . I highly recommend them to anyone who suffers with dry eyes.

I'm glad this is available somewhere other than Biosyntryx. Fast shipping, product is in good condition (no capsules broken inside). It works SO well, my dry eyes thank you!

I don't use regularly, but when my eyes get extremely dry to the point of actually paining and hard to keep open, I take 3 at a time about 3x 1st day and possibly into 2nd day. I usually start to feel relief on 2nd day. This is the only thing that helps me when they get really bad. I have told my opthomologist about them. I have bought $50 and $25 drops from them but to no avail.

There is a hidden brokerage fee $63.65 plus HST for six bottles which endup very costly.
