WOW.
Years ago I enjoyed Tamiya models because of the detail, but I stopped all of that long ago. There was lots of painting and extra stuff to get it just right. I recently discovered this LEGO Technic GT3, and the old vibe was stirred. I am blown away by this achievement by LEGO. It is magnificent. If you have any inking for detail and models, this is money well spent. I already purchased the Bugatti, such is my respect for the quality and commitment necessary to make a model like this commercial. When I opened the box I was stunned by how polished and sensible the packaging. It is nice just looking at how the contents boxed, no kidding. There is a box for four stages + tires, so each box coincides with that section of assembly. The manual is superb. All pieces were there, but I did have a scare in box three. I could not find a small clear single tab used for the rear lights, and thankfully there was an extra one in box four. I will try to attach some pictures, but it is difficult to relay the detail. For example, the model has pistons that move, but they disappear with continued assembly. The drive train is impressive and works. The steering works. The suspension is with springs and works and hopefully my one picture is enough to show it. This is top shelf, and I will keep an eye out for what LEGO doing next. I am not one that normally does LEGO, so I am happy to be onboard. Well done. For whatever reason my attachments are not showing even though they appear to attach all of which are under 100KB. Looking at other pictures, however, the detail is already posted.

A thoroughly enjoyable and detailed build. Best lego set ever. Great project for couples
I enjoyed legos a lot as a child and teenager, and even though I’m in my mid 30s, I decided to spring for this set as a project for me and my wife to work on together. The level of thought and planning that has gone into this set is not just impressive, it’s astonishing. The steering works, the manual transmission actually shifts, the independent suspension and differential work, etc... Everything fits together perfectly, and the instructions are clear and unambiguous.. Although I’m sure that customers occasionally end up missing or losing a piece, we found that we used everything except for the tiny little extra pins and things that LEGO includes in case something rolls under the couch.

Stunning in every way.
Just. Wow. I have been building Legos for over 35 years and I remember building some of the earliest technic sets when they came out in the 80s. I had the initial auto chassis model, and a subsequent one, among others. Never once do I remember feeling upon opening the box that I was completely overwhelmed. But let me clarify, I am overwhelmed in a good way. I am overwhelmed by the complexity of the set, the attention to detail of the set, the collaboration with Porsche, the introduction of 30+ pages in the book, and everything else about this. It is simply the most amazing construction set by any manufacturer I have ever seen. That said, if you have no idea what a Lego Technic set is, don't buy this as your first one. You will not enjoy it if you don't know what you're doing, and this one requires that you do.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS
This car has been my dream Lego Technic set since 2015, i'm just accomplishing my goals every day. I bought the 4 other Technic cars first to see if i could really, advance to the OG one.

Amazing experience for my first build.
I am a 76 year old grandfather. I have been buying LEGO kits for my three sons and five grandsons for years. I thought this would be a good way to keep my brain active. The kit is beautiful the instructions are great. It was missing a piece in box 1. Went on line and ordered it from LEGO I had it at my home in Colorado in about a week. LEGO has amazing customer service. I have already purchased the BUGATTI Chiron. Keeping the old brain active

Impressive set, disappointed with customer service.
Really has the feel of a high end set, great experience to build. Great experience until you realize 85% into the project that a robot screwed up and give you 1 wrong piece... yes out of 2700. basically included an extra 15 hole beam instead of a 13 hole beam. The lego site looks really impressive for reporting a missing piece ... until you don't hear anything, other than the auto response, for 5 days. excited to finish.... so took a dremel tool and fixed it now set is complete. Lego does need to realize that their packaging robots do occasionally make a mistake and customers "didn't just lose a piece under the table"..

Piece missing but still a great addition to my Lego set and by far my most favorite
Just to give you a little background on my Lego experience, prior to purchasing this set, I had built the Batman Tumbler (discontinued) and the Star Wars X-Wing (discontinued). I found the Tumbler to be moderately difficult as it was my first Lego set and it took a little time for me to understand the Lego blueprints. The Star Wars X-Wing was very easy in comparison. When I received the Porsche 911, I decided that I was going to take my time and enjoy building the set instead of making a mad dash to finish it quickly. The experience was quite enjoyable and I recommend anyone who is considering this item to definitely get it! You will not be disappointed! I'd like to point out for all you considering this purchase to read up on the gear issues prior to assembling the Lego. If you don't, you'll find that the gears do not work, which is not a big issue if you're going to keep it as an display item. I currently own 4 Lego sets, my fourth one being the newest Millennium Falcon and the Porsche 911 is by far my most favorite! I contacted Amazon and they were willing to send me a new piece, but I decided to do it through Lego instead. They sent the piece to me at no additional cost. As mentioned before, the biggest issue was the wait and receiving an incomplete Lego set. I still rate this as 5 stars because the Porsche 911 GT3 is just that great.

Increíble producto, de lo mejor para que los niños sean atraídos a la ingeniería, y adictivo para los mayores. Nosotros tenemos uno y estos porches los compramos para regalárselo a personas que tienen mucho dinero....... FUE UN EXITO!

This set is older (2016) and was the first 1:8 scale fully licensed Technic car set. So considering that, the design of the set is pretty amazing (the latest is the Mclaren P1 which has learned from the years of experience in the meantime). The set came in its original 2016 box with the label saying do not put this on a shelf before June 2016, and the seller put that box inside another much bigger box with all kinds of foam protection around it. He really cares about the set and its heritage. Leon from Brick Heaven was responsive in helping me track the delayed DHL delivery. This set and this car are iconic - a true collector's item. They are getting increasingly hard to find brand new unopened, and even though it is more than double the price of the P1, it's worth if it you love Lego Technic cars and even more so if you love the Porsche 911.

I'm going to surprise my nephew with this professional Porsche set. He loves anything Lego and I think this will top his list big time. It's rated 16+ so it will offer him a bit of a challenge but that's a good thing instead of easy and boring. Many pieces so it will take some time to build. Sure its expensive and you're paying for the brand name, but that aside, its high quality and really big. If I was young again, I would buy this for myself.
