Theme Song by Ayaka. Review: Interesting title here - I got this used, so I can't comment on the current main seller on the desertcart page. This review will be for the music on the album. To keep it short and sweet; I love it! The genres are pretty diverse, a lot of metal, acoustic, classical, and a mashup of those together in many tracks (acoustic guitars and electric guitars and the like). The tracks are REALLY good, and as you probably know you can go on YouTube for an initial listen to see if you like the style too. Also, there are quite a few remakes of tracks from the OG Final Fantasy VII and a few remakes from The Last Order (which I didn't really care as much about) and maybe others. Really great, any fan of the Final Fantasy VII universe should buy this! Main highlights for me is "Prelude to Destruction" (keeps you a bit on edge), "The Price of Freedom" (sad and powerful), and "The World's Enemy" (interesting fresh new take on One Winged Angel). 10/10 Review: Great Condition! - Great Condition!

Perfect
An absolutely wonderful and magnificent CD. While the songs are not as individually unique as Nobuo Uematsu's, they still all have a certain air or life to them (if that makes sense). The use of acoustic guitar is different and as a player myself it really adds a certain feel to it. The music is different from the usual FF masterpieces, but no less great. Just truly and absolutely wonderful things done with an acoustic guitar. The whole CD is unique and as a result gives a very 'Zack' feel to it. In all honesty I love it more than the FFVII Advent Children Soundtrack. A buy I shall never regret, and encourage others to get as well. I somehow even managed to drown in nostalgia, and considering I have never played Crisis Core, only VII, I find this impressive. As a heads up they don't sell it in Canada, so you have to wait an agonizing few weeks to get it from the States. But it is so worth it.

Good
Good songs, good CD quality. Proud to own this physically because digital albums don't have "Why (CCVII MIX)" so I thought it better to get the whole thing in lossless quality. Right choice for me.

Excellant CD!
For a FFVII Fan this is well recommend. I love Final Fantasy especially FFVII, VIII, and X. FFVII is one of my favourite out of all and I've been wanting to play this game. I had bought the CD before the game but I fell in love with the music. It is perfect to listen to at any time. Well recommended for a FF--especially FFVII--fan.

For the few lone souls that actually read this
While Crisis Core may not be in the ranks of say, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear, or the Final Fantasy series, CC does respectfully hold its own as a game ost. The composer is Takeharu Ishimoto, and he was entrusted with the goal of refreshing some of the classic FF7 themes from the original game - and I thought he did a decent job. If you haven't played the game, some of the music may not be appealing, but for those that have played the PSP game Crisis Core, you will no doubt find yourself buying/downloading this OST and listening to it. You have quite a variety on this CD, you have your typical game music reflected in songs like "The Mako City" "Patriots of the Moonlight" "Wandering on a Sunny Afternoon" "Wilderness of Destruction" and "Town Where the Sunlight Doesn't Reach" which are either here nor there, but still great toons just to have in the background. Then theres the techno-rock mix found throughout the CD that just doesn't do it for me - songs like "Encounter" "Last Order" "Conflict" "Controlling The Iron Beast" "The Face of Lost Pride" really don't fit the game at all, nor the FF7 lore. It's not that these songs are bad in themselves, it's just they don't belong here in FF7. After that, you have the closest tracks that resemble the FF7 world and really capture the spirit of the game, these songs would include "Dreams and Pride" "Under The Apple Tree" "The Clandestine Dark Suits (Turks Theme)" "A Flower Blooming in the Slums (Aeriths Theme)" "Sky-Blue Eyes" "The Mako-Controlling Organization (Shinra Theme)" "Moonlight Wandering" "Night of Seclusion" "Duty and Friendship" and of course the climatic, orchestrated piece "Fulfilled Desire" which pays homage to alot of the original music in FF7 in a 8 min track. It's a great soundtrack for those that have played the game.

Great, and sooner than expected.
The album arrived in excellent condition, and I wasn't expecting it for another week! The soundtrack is excellent, great use of string instruments during a lot of the pieces.

Arrived fast from Japan to the UK and was brand new, safely packaged with a friendly note from the seller 💖 Always love buying JP imports, they're much more exciting to open up!

This has all the music from the Remake/PSP Crisis Core game. I enjoy listening to the music whilst driving around or doing the housework.
