Bought to eliminate the sour water order in my washer that has begun to infiltrate my laundry. I used one tablet in a directed cycle. It helped some. Did another directed cycle with a tablet and it an excellent job cleaning the washer drum and cutting the odor, but what I found was it did not really clean the rubber washer around the door. So I had use elbow grease to remove the offending gunk or mold. Having said that, I do recommend this product for cleaning the washer drum.

Great washing machine tablet! It does not leave any residue behind in the washer and very affordable as it will last you 6-9 months depending on how frequently you need to use them.If you have young kids or a husband with stinky clothes you may go through them a bit quicker but they work awesome!

Like getting the oil changed on a car, I wanted to do some routine maintenance to avoid costly repairs or even replacement of our washer in the future. Prior to using the Maravello Washing Machine Clearner, the washer had a bit of a sewage smell which needed to be addressed. I am not certain if there was any additional scale or grime on the interior parts of the washer, and it is my hope that by using the Maravello product I will never have to take apart our washer to find out. After using the first tablet, I noticed that the hint of sewage smell was gone. I think that it is best to use the "cleaning cycle" on the washer for best results initially. Our LG front loading washer has a four-hour cleaning cycle using the highest temperature water. I think that I might try a shorter washer cycle on the next monthly cleaning, Also, it is recommended by the manufacturer to wipe down the washer after using the tablets. I did not notice any residue inside the drum of the washer after the cleaning. The LG front loading washer has rubber pieces near the door which should also be wiped out for even better results. Prior to the cleaning cycle, I had cleaned out the LG washer's filter and was surprised to find that there was additional hair and sludge which the cleaning cycle was able to remove. Overall, I think that the Maravello Washing Machine Cleaner has most likely cleaned out sections of the washer that I would never be able to see or access on my own. I think that using this product may help extend the life of our washer and will protect this major household investment over time.

It doesn't have much effect. When washing, there are many bubbles, which makes me feel clean, but it still doesn't have much effect.

It’s easy to use, just works and the price is really good. I like the way it’s packaged and that is a year’s worth in one box. The scent is refreshing and yet not too strong. We first discovered Maravello brand because we bought their garbage disposal cleaner. Now that worked like a charm. And it left my sink smelling great month after month. So i decided to try washing machine cleaner.We’re good about keeping our side loading machine clean and it was getting expensive with the affresh brand. It’s been 2 months so far with Maravella. So far so good, seems to keep the machine clean and any odors away.

I have a front load washer that has become progressively stinky. the clothes just did not smell clean and fresh when wakes. We have well water and also my son overstuffs the washer and then leaves wet clothes in there too long and it has probably contributed to the odor. Anyway, I used this tablet. Very easy. Tossed in. Ran on the Clean Washer setting. I then did an extra rinse at the end. Just to make sure not residue of product which would be an irritant. This definitely helped freshen the washer.I ended up doing a second time about 2 weeks after since there was a little lingering stinky. This seemed to do the trick! I am happy with this purchase and glad I found this product that works and is not expensive.
