Perfect power supply for my Canon EOS T2i. Left it on timer for a month with no problems.

I bought this to use with my Cannon T5i. I initially thought my item was defective, until I realized that the battery door has to be closed for the item to work. I use that when I am using my camera to stream live, or if my regular batter is not charged. You just put the coupler, fake battery, into your camera, close the door and hook it up to the outlet. Now you have an unlimited power source to run your camera, without worrying about your battery dying. I have not noticed any overheating or problems with my camera since using it. Very much love this device.

Been using this battery to power my Canon Rebel EOS 5 and it hasn't over heated or shut off my camera once. Not too much to say other than it feels pretty standard to a dummy battery and it has worked very well. It's pretty cheap fit perfectly and was easy to get going. Just please buy the right one I think I bought two different batteries on accident that didn't fit.

I know there have been people who have ordered this product from other distributors and brands etc etc and they've had issues with them sticking and messing up their cameras, that was a concern of mine when I ordering this, but the one I got was perfect and works like a charm. The crazy thing is if you were to purchase it from Cannon it would cost you an arm and a leg. Gotta love a great deal on something that makes your life easier. No regrets..lots of value for a low price.

Muy fácil y sencilla la instalación. Lo probé unos breves minutos, atento a la temperatura y funcionó bien. Ahora debo grabar unos clips de vídeo y lo usaré nuevamente, espero que continúe funcionando bien. Es una gran herramienta, ya que las baterías Canon Originales están escasas y costosas. No es conveniente usar baterías genéricas, duran muy poco y además se hinchan, haciendo difícil sacarlas de la cámara. Ojalá vuelvan a poner en venta las originales, pues son necesarias al estar en exteriores y no tener donde conectar el dispositivo. Por Ahora, está funcionando bien, y espero se mantenga así. Más adelante enviaré nuevos comentarios. Y entonces si, agregaré la quinta estrella Richard

As a content creator I needed this as my regular battery for the camera was always needing to be charged in the middle of me recording. This has literally saved me so much time and being able to record non stop! Easy to use and setup.

I have been using this to be able to use my camera for longer. I bought this at first to use my canon t3i as a webcam. Now I have this connected from my Canon t3i to a power bank that last way much longer than the canon battery to capture memories when it matters the most! The quality is all light plastic but it gets the job done. I absolutely recommend it over buying more batteries.

I got this to be able to plug my t5i in while doing talking head video for my youtube channel so I didn't have to worry about the batteries running down. I was frustrated to find a hum on all video recorded when the camera was plugged in with this adapter. I unplugged the adapter and replaced it with a battery and the mic quality was back to normal. It's not really much use if it ruins the audio on any video you are shooting with it. I used a rode videomic. Reading online, I found out that if the adapter is super cheap and uses a certain technology, it will cause EMF interference, and this is likely what I'm hearing. Wish I could have known it would do this. Maybe a better mic wouldn't be affected by this??
