I Finally Obtained Some Outstanding Pots & Pans
After purchasing many different brands of pots and pans over a span of at least fifteen years I finally received what I have always wanted. First of all, the pots and covers were packaged very carefully in an extra strong box, with padding for each item and arrived in perfect, undamaged condition after shipping. The Calphalon Classic cookware is a superbly manufactured set of pans. The selection of different size and types of pans is ideal to meet all of my cooking needs. Every pan distributes the heat from my gas range evenly throughout the entire bottom surface of each unit. The glass covers fit perfectly and have a large enough lip that they will not slide off the top of the pot. The non-stick finish works like a gem in each pot and there is absolutely no sticking on the hard anodized interior surfaces. The enclosed instructions state that you can wash all of the pots in a dishwasher but they clean so easily by hand that I do not place them in a dishwasher; besides I want them to last as long as possible! This a world-class set of cooking ware.

Quality, very nice!
I’ve had the highest end version of Calphalon pots and pans, so I feel qualified to review this. This set is amazing, great bang for the buck and feels solid! Definitely not your average junky pots and pans that have the coating peeling in months. Take care of these and they’ll take care of you. Great set, not flimsy at all

but wanted to do a little more 'real' cooking' The good, the bad
I only wish I could give this product a 4.7 rating.I order this several months ago and didn't want to write a review until I used it a while.Let me tell you about how I use this: I am a bachelor and do 'bachelor cooking'. I used to do 90% of my cooking in the microwave, but wanted to do a little more 'real' cooking'The good, the bad, and the ugly.I never use the smallest pot. It is just too small for anything useful. I would have preferred they left it out all together. I also wish the largest pot were just a little larger. But that is just my choice. I would have preferred they would have turned the two skillets into one skillet somewhere 'half way in between' in size. These are just my personal preference.I have read where some people were upset because the pots and lids held heat. Um... they are metal. Metal holds heat. These are made of metal. So if you are going to cook something in them, you will need a hot pad when touching metal. Some people have posted reviews where the non-stick surface does not hold up well in a dishwasher. I'm a bachelor and even I know not to put great cookware in a dishwasher. I wash them by hand. It is pretty easy (see exceptions below). It just takes a swish of a soapy sponge. So when are they hard to clean? The lids (ALL of the lids) are built with a very thin gap where the glass of the lid connects to the metal of the rim. As the two connect, there is a VERY thin gap connecting the two materials. Cleaning between the tow materials is a pain in the back side. You almost have to get a knife and gouge down in there.Second cleaning problem: The handles of the pots and skillets are held on by rivets. Those rivets are not connected by the same non stick surface. So you will spend as much (or more) time trying to clean around those connecting rivets as the rest of the entire pot or pan.In short, I am listing the problems. These are wonderful pots and pans to cook with. NOTHING sticks. If you are willing to hand wash (which is pretty darn easy), they clean up really well.

Love
Love these pots and pans! We bought an older version of this set from Target 6 years ago and they started peeling a couple of months ago! We bought this set and one of the pots was defective so we had to exchange it for a new set and we've had zero issues! It's extremely non stick so you don't need oil, but I do just so the meat gets a nice crust. Dried on food rinses off with hot water. The bottom of the pans will scuff easily so they're not display pots but every set I've looked at scratches tbh. Hand wash these pots only! I do run the lids through the dishwasher though.

Seems to be a very good set of non-stick cookware. Great for glass stove tops.
First of all, I'm a customer, and not paid for my review.Needed a new set of cookware that I could use on my new glass stove-top range. As an alternative to stainless steel pans (that could be difficult to clean), hard anodized cookware was recommended. This Calphalon set seems like a significant improvement upgrade over anything that I've used in the past. I'm not a chef, and these are more than adequate for my skillset. So far, I've cooked several omelets, and (1) they turned out phenomenal, and (2) cleanup was very simple. I chose the Calphalon over Cuisinart and other sets due to their lifetime warranty. After three weeks, I like the cookware, and recommend this hard anodized non-stick set to anyone. The price on Amazon met/or was better than brick and mortar retailers offering the same or similar set; FYI: Wal-mart sells a 14 piece set, which includes the same 10 piece set sold on Amazon, with 4 cheap, plastic utensils for $269. For that price, the Amazon set is a much better buy. I also recommend that you wait for an Amazon sale (or an online coupon) before buying.

Best Cookware Set
I had been looking for a solid, durable new cookware set & was prepared to treat myself to get something that would last. I used these at my boyfriend’s mom’s house a few times & they were fantastic. She’d had them for quite a while & they still looked & worked great, so I decided to get them & they have not let me down. I cook quite a lot & prefer cookware that can go in the dishwasher if I need them to. They do wipe clean pretty easily (even eggs don’t stick as bad as they do on most). I think I’ll probably have (& enjoy) these for years to come. Happy with my purchase!

Outstanding set
I use them on a gas stove top. They heat evenly and clean up really easily either by hand or dishwasher. I put both lids and pans in the dishwasher a lot and they still look and function like new.
