I use this for night time feeds only and it really is a lifesaver. Cools down bottle within a minute. Game changer - must have for bottle fed babies. I asked my health visitor if she thought it was ok to use and she didn’t recommend it because it added another surface to the bottle making process increasing risk of contamination. BUT my health visitor doesn’t recommend anything!! Lol. I understand what she means though but I kept mine washed and sterilised….it is definitely worth the buy.28Jan22 - I have updated my post because I forgot to mention that the lid I always stays green and I think many people have the same problem with this products. Whilst I understand the item should be working 100% this didn’t bother me. When I’m using the flask I simply shake the flask 10 times with 4 ounces of water and it’s perfect temperature. Not sure if this is how your supposed to use it but it what works for me.

Does exactly what it is supposed to - cools boiling liquid down to baby drinking temperature (i.e. body temperature) within 1-2 minutes. I'm so glad i didn't buy the TT perfect prep machine which i was considering, as this does the same thing (but even better as it uses boiling water to sterilise the formula powder which isn't the case with the perfect prep). The temperature lights stopped working on mine after a few uses, but it didn't matter as you figure out very quickly how long it takes to cool the liquid as it is very consistent, so i don't think it needs the temperature gauge. You can feel the flask heating up as you hold it, which is basically the heat transferring from the liquid to the walls of the flask, so you know that the formula has cooled. Never takes more than 2 mins in my experience. highly recommended!

Will forever recommend this to anyone having a baby saves so much time waiting for bottles to cool down

Would be a good product if the lid that indicates whether the temperature is to hot or the right temp would work. We purchased this a couple of months ago, but have just started using it now and the lid has never worked it just continuously lights up green! So we’ve paid for a product that doesn’t work.

The Nuby Rapid Cool has literally saved my life for feeding on the go. It completely illuminates the anxiety over having a bottle ready and at the right temperature to feed when my baby girl is hungry. I used to use the ready made formula cartons whilst out and about but I have been unable to get hold of my baby’s particular cartons for about 10 weeks due to a production issue. I went into panic mode at the thought of making up a formula feed from scratch whilst I was out but this device is a total game changer and so easy to use! The fact that it follows NHS guidelines, unlike other similar devices on the market, puts me at ease knowing that I’m no subjecting my little one to any harmful bacteria. I cools the feed from boiling to perfect temperature in 4-5 minutes for a 6 ounce feed. I also find it handy to use on the night feed as I literally don’t have to leave the bedroom and can still make the feed up fresh there and then. I would highly recommend this product!

The Nuby is good at cooling the milk and saves time but the temperature indicator doesn’t work, it always stays green, which could be very dangerous for a baby.

Cools the milk very quickly, usually quicker than the time it gives you. Only gave 4 stars though as sometimes the lid doesn't work properly and can have the green light even when it's too hot, still usable though! It's definitely helped me to go out all day and make up fresh feeds.

Would not be without the product. Absolute game changer for formula feeds. If my little one was exclusively formula fed I’d need more than 1 but we only use formula here and there. I’ve found that you need to leave the water in the flask a minute or too longer once the indicator goes green as otherwise the water is still too hot and you end up having to run the bottle under cold water to cook further. We use it with a cold water steriliser and not had any issues. Impossible to see the volume indicator on the inside so we have to measure the water out separately before putting in here with formula which is a pain.
