MAISIE JANES Organic Almond Butter Smooth, 12 OZUSDA Organic

I'm pretty particular about the food we eat, looking for organic and made in the USA amongst other things. I was pleased when I found Maisie Janes almond butter. It is both organic and made in the USA. Best of all the only ingredients are almonds! No palm oil, salt or other unnecessary things here!It is important to note that there is only 12 oz of peanut butter in the jar, making this a more expensive almond butter than most of its competitors. However, it will make up for it with the taste! Absolutely fantastic! Also, this product comes in a glass jar which I much prefer over plastic.One issue is the separation. It is a natural product. As such, the oil and the "butter" will separate fairly significantly. I was hoping I could use one of my old-fashioned peanut butter mixers but, as the jar is smaller than normal, they do not fit correctly.My best solution is to dump the contents into my KitchenAid mixer bowl and whip it up. The oil and butter combine to a nice spreadable consistency. Then I use a rubber spatula to put it back in the jar. It will thicken slightly when you store it in the refrigerator but it is still easy to work with.

Best ever almond butter! Nothing else compares. It’s so worth the price. No other almond butter I’ve tried has come close to this one. So so good. And great, simple ingredients!

Best almond butter on the planet would be my guess. Perfect consistency and great flavor. So what if it costs an arm and a leg?

This almond butter is very good it’s tastes very flesh and don’t have only 1 gram of sugar no added sugar, not sodium and 0 cholesterol.

It's typical almond butter, and I like almond butter. I like that it's in glass and no additives . Main thing is the price. It's SO expensive

Maisies Almond Butter is rich, nutty, and fresh-tasting. GLASS JAR is a must for me!!

Rock hard mess - do not purchase this stuff! When I opened the jar, there was a hard mass of almond stuff along with clear oil. I figured I'd just give it a stir or two. No way. The hard stuff was as hard and un-stirrable as river clay. So I extricated the entire mess into a bowl and tried a potato masher. No go. Nothing but hard mass and oil. So I used my hands to messily try to break up most of the hard stuff- 10 minutes of that and then I had to use a hand mixer for 5 more minutes to make it smooth. DO NOT buy this Product! Getting my money back seems very reasonable to me- as I must have lost a good 1/4 of it in the process.

I buy this product often from wholefoods and always has a smooth consistency throughout, this time I order it from Amazon and the consistency of the almond butter was different harder and difficult to spreadThe cans have been for sometime, it seems, horizontal before arriving to my home...that could be the reason of the difference consistency....I do not in now if they were returnable..I did not returned them but I will not buy them from Amazon again...I just will buy them in whole foods or any health food store...
