This is the first step I use on my resin masks so that they accept the paint. Without it the paint will scratch and not adhere properly. I tried another brand, but it didn't work. This is tough stuff, nasty and noxious so you MUST wear a respirator when using and if you're smart you'll only use it outdoors. A dust mask is inadequate. I even let my pieces air out after spraying because the smell hangs around for awhile. That being said, it works well for the purpose it's used for.

If you've never used Bulldog, then hopefully you will. I have a saying; Answers do not come in cans or tubes. This is a rare exception. I usually buy the quart can, but it's nice to have a spray can for small things when you could not really justify cleaning out a paint gun. Bulldog is at the top of the list, Must have for painters. I have used it for years. It is NOT a substitute for proper prep, but it augments what you already do. I have used bulldog over leather/vinyl prior to airbrushing, and nothing else works !!! On those heavy flake paint jobs where you cannot sand before your next clearcoat (next day), Bulldog is the only option, and thank GOD it works. If you have ever used DuPont 222S, Bulldog is like Dupont 222S on steroids and it doesn't seem to attack the substrate. Try it !!!! Read the instructions, use it properly and you will never be without it again.
