Gremlin when wet...
Some lights don't work as intended after it rains, but seem to again once they dry out (I have two strings connected). Poor distance (~12-15') on remote.

Pretty, but fragile
With the scores of similar products, it's hard to keep all the features and specifications straight. With so many of them listing "shatterproof" in the description, I missed that this one did not mention that. They looked great and there were no unlit bulbs in the set, but the bulbs are thin glass (this review is for the clear globe lights; so confusing that different product reviews are listed together here), and I was carefully unpacking them in the house when two bulbs contacted each other and that was it, broken glass bulb. Nothing like even the old timey glass christmas bulbs that could take a beating and not break. I was planning to hang these on my house during winters, and there's no way I could do that every year without continually breaking them. So, I decided I needed to return them, unfortunately.

Small candelabra bulb string lights, that are dimmable!
I purchased these string lights after already owning the Costco Feit electric ones, which I liked. These were a fraction of the cost and at 50-feet long were a great buy. The bulbs are smaller than the costco lights, but the round shape of the bulb is nice. They have a candelabra base where as the Costco lights are a normal bulb base. The lights work great and were fairly bright. I ended up researching and finding a remote control dimmer for the lights that works great. I don't believe the listing said they were dimmable, but they are, and look really nice at about 50% light!

They are not made for long lasting use….disappointing.
I assumed they were heavy duty since they are outdoor rated. Says on the box they are not made to hold up for long term use.

8 months and over half the bulbs need replacing
After 8 months of use, maybe 4 hours per evening but not every evening, 16 bulbs are completely out. LEDs shouldn't burn out like this. They might last better if kept completely out of the weather, but that is not how they are advertised.
