Can I use these for acryllic paints? Or will the dropper struggle to push out the paint?

I have used these bottles for storing thinned paints: Acrylic, Lacquer Based, and Vinyl paints. As long as you keep the bottles clean and sealed, your paints should be fine.

Can these be put in the freezer?

As just a general rule, you should never put any glass Bottle/Cup/Container filled with moist liquids, gel, or paste. Because when they freeze, they expand and will shatter, or at least fracture the glass. Some people put bottles of liquor in their freezers and are fine, because of the alcohol content, but I'm guessing it's the alcohol that's keeping it from freezing, I'm no expert. But back to the beginning: As a General Rule - You shouldn't put Glass containers in the Freezer.

Are the caps child proof?

No. Not at all. These have very simple twist caps. No locks or catches. Also the rubber dropper can be pulled out. Not easily, but still a child hazard. Store out of reach of any/all children.
