Ultra Brisk Reusable Flexible Ice Pack with Adjustable Wrap for Hot & Cold Therapy, Black

I use this for heat on my lower back. The best thing about it for me is that the strap is the right length for wrapping around my small waist (I'm 5' 105 lbs.) - others I have tried are way too big for me. So it would not be good for someone with a large waist. The heat doesn't last quite as long as I would like - would probably need more gel. But it heats up well, stays around my waist as I move around, so it's way better for me than any of the many others I have tried.

I like this ice pack. Although it does freeze solid and stiff, so you have to poke it to loosen it up a little. I would have like something softer and also something with a cover. But I did know it had no cover when I purchased it. On the whole it's fine for what I need. The adjustable band is also good, it fits me and I'm a big guy!

The fact that it comes with the other little ice pack has been a DREAM. I have pain in my neck/shoulder/shoulder blade, so the combo of the strap with the additional pack hits all of my spots.If i put it in the freezer for only 30 minutes, it's nice and cool and very flexible. If i leave it in longer, it can get a lot harder (and therefore harder to mold), but then I just let it defrost for a little while until it softens and is more pliable for my shoulder. I've also used on my knee (i know, i'm a klutz) and it's been great! I was able to walk around without it falling off when I pulled it tight.

The velcro on the belt is small and doesn't hold up.

You wouldn't think there would be big differences between these sorts ice packs, but my wife and I have tried a few and the Ultra Brisk lasts longer, re-cools quicker, and has a better Velcro strapping system. Additionally we were impressed by the company's care in separately sending out a follow-up email encouraging the product's safe use (e.g. placing any of these on your skin directly or for too long is a health risk). If you're after a "reusable, flexible ice pack", this is definitely a good choice.

Do what they should.

I actually haven't used the ice pack yet but it looks good. It is not made of plastic or vinyl like others - it seems more durable and more flexible. I got it to use primarily as a hot pack, heated in the microwave. I hope I don't need to use it anytime soon, but I'm glad I have it if I do.

Gets the job done.
