Wago splice terminals are awesome!
Wago is the cage clamp orginators, and their product are industrial grade. These little connectors make twist one connectors go the way of the dodo bird. The cage clamp design is perfect for joining solid wire to stranded. The cage clamp design is gas tight and only gets tighter as the wire is continually under the cage clamp spring pressure. Quick, easy, reusable, and trouble free... what not to love about these Wago connectors?!

Super useful for light fixtures
Lever Nuts are great for attaching ceiling fixtures. Your home wiring uses a solid cable, while the light fixture usually has a stranded cable. You can twist on a wire nut, but i've had problems with making a good contact between the stranded and solid cable. These Lever Nuts make it easy for such a scenario especially when you're struggling to hold the fixture and wire it at the same time. It also makes it great for fluorescent light ballasts where you can similarly prep the replacement ballast at floor level and then quickly and easily make the final connection at the ceiling. These absolutely beat wire nuts for any light fixtures that you might ever replace. Lever nuts and Push wire connectors also work for electrical junctions and saves some space compared to standard wire nuts, however, I usually use wire nuts for more permanent connections like that. Also, the Wago product lines all have UL-US, UL-Canada, European code compliance and even are approved for use on American and European ships. Step by step for ceiling fixtures: 1.) strip and prepare all wires 2.) while fixture is on floor, attach lever nuts to all stranded wires and press levers down to secure 3.) lift fixture up to ceiling box 4.) insert solid wires into lever nut and press lever down to secure, repeat for other wires 5.) (OPTIONAL) twist wires to further secure 5.) mount light fixture BOOM! Done!

These are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Now what am I going to do with my drawer full of standard wire nuts & push-in splices? Since finding out about the Wago Lever Nuts and using them for various electrical wiring projects, I've pretty much given up using standard wire nuts and plastic push-in splices. The lever-nuts are much easier to use in repair jobs when the wires are still hot. (OK, so I don't always turn off the power when doing small repair jobs, but you don't either, and don't pretend you always do it by the book!) Much easier to insert each individual wire into a lever-nut slot than to try to twist several live wires together using a wire nut. The lever-nut also makes it easier to connect several wires because you can do each one invidually. Can't do that with a wire nut, have to get them all together at the same time. The difference is especially noticeable when connecting 5 wires together. The 5-wire lever-nut makes it a simple task. The lever-nuts also have a couple of advantages over the typical push-in type plastic wire splices: first the push-in types are hard to reverse, sometimes impossible, usually end up cutting them out, the lever-nuts are easy, just flip the lever and remove the wire; second, the push-in types only work with solid wire, can't be used with stranded whereas the lever-nuts will accept solid or stranded. I have the 2- 3- and 5-wire lever-nuts, wished they would make a 4-wire version, and also that they would make them available with different color levers. Right now you can get any color as long as it's orange.

High quality
These wire connectors are top notch. They save a lot of time and the quality is unbeatable. Don’t waste your time on the knock offs the levers break off easily and they don’t hold the wires.

I wish these were available in a model that could handle more wires (10 would be great)!
My first of these was to allow me to cut and reassemble a 5v cord used to power a Framio device - so I didn't have to drill a hole in an antique Germany Shrunk. It's great that if I don't like where I put it, I can disassemble and reassemble at will without having to cut damaged wire ends. Next up, I used them when upgrading 6 dumb-old wall switches to smart switches. It was nice to be able to disconnect and reconnect wires when trying to stuff everything back into the woefully undersized electrical boxes in my home. I would give this a 5 star review, despite cost over plain old wire-nuts, if they came in more variety with regard to how many wires they could attach. In each of the two boxes I wired up, I had a single gang switch, and two 3-way switches, so, 10 common wires and 10 ground wires per box - to make those connections I had to use 2x5 wire lever-nuts and one 3 wire lever-nut. At least with these not damaging the wires, I felt comfortable trimming back the excess wire significantly as needed to make room for the extra size of the smart switches.
