Dickies Women's 20 Inch Stretch Twill Skirt

needed a khaki skirt for work but at my age, these were too short.

This skirt fits well enough around the waist I was recommended a size 10. I normally wear and 8 so I have extra room in the hips and legs. All in all it’s an pretty great purchase just wish it came in black.

Update: Rec'd the size 12 and it is too big - and I'm bummed. So I'm in between sizes. However, if you have a larger waist, give this a try with one size up. Original Review: I was looking for a khaki skirt that would fall just above the knee - so around 29". I'm 5'6 1/2" and weigh 164. My waist is a little bloated right now, so not looking to squeeze into something I ordered this in an 8 and a 10 because I fluctuate between those two sizes - had to send back and order a 12 (trying hard for this because I really wanted this type skirt in this color). This is a functional skirt - sit down without showing your crotch, comfortable with pockets for phone, wear it with sandals and a cute top for a casual lunch outfit or with a tshirt to hang. It's 97% cotton, so I expect it will shrink a little. It's worth noting that styles are starting to change again and high waisted is back - this is high waisted (but not too high).

Fits well. Very comfortable. Nice size pockets. Very flattering.

I was looking for a skirt I could wear to work that has more structure than a pencil skirt and would give me the option of sitting lower on the hip. I order the desert sand color as well as black.I usually wear a 10 in pants, so that is the size I order. The skirt fits more like an 11-12. I washed it to see if it would shrink at all and change the size, but there was minimal shrinkage after washing and the fabric came out very soft.I ended up ordering the same color as well as navy in the Dickies Junior skirt. Ended up ordering a size 11. The juniors line fits better on me (I have more of a pear shape - in my opinion). The women's cut flairs more towards the knees when worn. The juniors line is straighter while the women's cut has a more relaxed fit. I would have returned it but figured the 8 would be too snug. Although its more of a relaxed fit, the skirt still looks good, feels good, and washes well.I gave it 4 stars because my one complain is the pockets do not lay flush against the hips and waist. They tend to flair out, especially when you get up from sitting.

This is a flattering basic skirt that has the perfect amount of stretch, and will work well in all seasons.

Bought sz. 6 in Desert Sand color; I'm 5' 3" (38.5" hip), & I love that it's knee-length if you're petite like me. Top of knee-cap. Cut is great, waist maybe a touch generous in proportion to hips. The way the front fastens is a little "bulky," too, so it wouldn't be discreet or trim under a fitted top. You'd see a bump. For now I'm wearing loose-fitting tops over this and may also experiment with tops tucked in. Love the comfy, classic style & feel like this is a great every-day skirt or for something a little nicer than casual. The only thing I con't care for is the way the front pockets are cut; doesn't really show in the picture, but they gape quite a bit (like the front part of the pocket was cut just a little too big or something). They don't like flat, but it's not really a big deal. Just would prefer an overall sleeker fit in the pockets and waist portion of this skirt, but I'll wear it a lot!!

Me encantó! El material es muy bueno, el largo de la falda es excelente justo a la rodilla (mido 1.73). Uso talla 16 en pantalón pensé que si pedía esa talla me quedaría pequeña, así que compre 18 me quedo holgada en la cadera pero excesivamente grande en la cintura, puedo usar cinto pero se abren las bolsas frontales. Definitivo volveré a comprar pero una talla menos.He vuelto a comprar, ahora la negra. La talla 14 me queda muy bien. El color negro no es tan oscuro como esperaba y se le pegan lanitas, espero eso se pase con las lavadas. Volví a comprar la caqui en talla 14 por que son muy practicas y de buena calidad. Se pueden usar con zapatos casuales, tenis o sandalias.

Love the colour. Love the length of the skirt. I would buy it again for work.

Loved the skirt - great colour and great feel to the material. Unfortunately, it was way too big and so had to be returned.
