A very nice alarm/desk clock; attractively priced. I was very pleasantly surprised by all included features, which were actually simple and almost intuitive to operate with relatively few buttons - 5 on the front + snooze/light, reset and auto/manual night light switch on the back. The display (5x2") is very bright and clear. LED light is equally bright and covers the entire screen very evenly - 2 bulbs on each side. The kids immediately started playing with different ways to trigger the night light in its "Auto" mode - responded to a light bump on the body, clap, finger snap or knock on the table surface so far. The temperature display seems reasonably accurate, too. Didn't purchase for world time, but that perhaps is a neat option for traveling, especially since the stand came detachable making the clock surprisingly portable despite larger size.Runs on easy to come by 2xAAA batteries.

I wanted a digital display clock so when I walk into a room I can see right away the time, month and date, etc at distance of 8-10 ft.On Amazon this clock seemed to fit the bill. Large type displaying time, month, date, day and temperature. When I received the clock, I noticed right away that the background is very dark and you can hardly see the lettering and number. If you were going to use this clock as an alarm clock how can you see the time in the dark? On Amazon the displayed clock had a light background and the type stood out and you can easily read the time, etc. The clock does have a background light but you have to touch the clock for the light to come on and it stays on for about 10 seconds. Also the instructions was very sub-par. The type is very small and poor Xerox quality, I had to use a magnifying glass to read it and it was hard to understand.

Alarm never worked and within a few months it started losing time. I like that it's dark at night but in order to check the time I have to make a noise to turn the backlight on then try to view the clock at just the right angle so I don't just see the blue light.

Clock is great with the exception the alarm is not very loud and I can barely hear it. Per the seller, icpmarket, the volume can't be adjusted. The numbers for the time are large and easy to read. Having the date and room temperature displayed are handy features. The backlight is not constantly on to preserve battery power, but all you have to do is touch the clock to activate the backlight or tap the table it's sitting on. It's supersensitive because the backlight went on one time when I dropped my tennis shoes on the floor about 6 feet away.

Not bad for the price for the clock itself. Setting it up was a bit difficult. The instructions were very, very small. I would suggest for us "senior" folk who need reading glasses to give us bigger instructions that are easier to read. We had a heck of time. Somehow, I had the alarm set for every day at 6:00 AM. The print was so small we couldn't read how to turn it off. It would come on every morning and play "Happy Birthday". My son finally was over and he fixed it for us. We still haven't figured out how to set it to a different tune, and we are not willing to fool around with it. It gives the correct time.

I love this clock! My last one died after many years of use. I didn't want a big bulky clock, but I did want one that was easy to read. This one is perfect. Easy to program (I didn't even read the instructions) with more info on the face than I need but still useful. The auto light feature is fantastic - just tap on or near the clock and it lights for 5 seconds. Love that! Like that it only takes 2 batteries. The stand makes it easy to see and hard to tip over, unlike other models I considered. Would get this again!!

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent alarm clock! Easy to set up and has all the features of alarm clock and more. The display shows day/date and room temperature. Several beautiful alarm melodies make the waking up process easier. Lightens up with the gentle touch anywhere on the clock or on the desk surface it is standing on. Also lights up at night when you clap your hands. Has a snooze button. Looks nice too! I love this product!

The side of the screen with the date and day does not work properly. The day is not legible. Other than that works fine if you don't mind to set it up/adjust every weeks as it stays behind few minutes. And it did not light up when clapping for me. I should have returned it for a replacement but as these things don't matter hugely, it also wasn't worth the hassle of a return.
