Meh: A Story About Depression
R**T
An important book to keep available to anyone of any age struggling with dark feelings.
Having struggled with depression throughout my life, I was completely drawn in to these wordless illustrations capturing the way the darkness encroaches into a day. Then comes the reminder that even in the darkness we are not alone! There is One who brings us out the other side into the light. I will keep this book handy for use on the dark days.

Excellent book for encouraging discourse on depression and other mental health problems
Articulating what it feels like to be depressed is difficult enough for adults, but for children to express how they feel (or to understand how someone else is feeling) is even more challenging. Too often we get caught up in finding the right words. In her book 'Meh', Deborah Malcolm removes that issue. Creating a wordless story about depression allows the reader to draw their own conclusions and identify with the character - and subject matter - in their own way. As an educational tool or a medium for facilitating discussion, 'Meh' is an excellent book for helping to raise awareness and encourage discourse on depression and other mental health problems.

Unique and Special
Love this book about the journey through depression. The illustrations are lovely. What I especially like is that there are no words to interfere with the story, which is told simply in pictures. Your feelings are not directed by text; you're free to allow your own emotions to arise. I bought this for myself, not for a child.
