Bought this for my MSI gaming laptop. First of all the laptop runs fine, with no noticeable throttling on BF1 60fps Ultra settings however I did notice that the GPU was running at 73 deg C. Not horrible but to prolong the life of the laptop i thought id do something to bring the temps down. By default the laptop has maybe 3-5mm clearance with the little rubber feet on the bottom to pull air. After purchasing this item, the temp is down to 63-66 degrees. It doesn't seem like much but with active components your video card that little bit makes a difference. The unit runs pretty quiet, definitely not sleep quiet (but im a light sleeper) and a lot quieter than when I was using a desktop. It gets the job done however complaints:1) It only elevates from one side, so the whole thing is angled, this necessitates the use of these little arm things to hold your laptop2) Those arms then take up half an inch of laptop space and as a result inefficeient use of airflow3) Those annoying blue lights....I get that they're part of the fan but would be nice to be able to switch them off independently4) Fan placement: There's a bit logo with no airflow, this will vary by computer of course but for my uses there's an intake right there. The bottom two fans are completely useless with my computer. I wonder what the temps could be like if the fans were positioned differently.Overall I would definitely recommend this, however I would also recommend users take a look at how their laptop is laid out and compare to other options on the market.

This is a great little lap top desk. Our children's school system relies heavily on computers for students to get their homework completed. It is not unusual in our home for 3 kids to be on a computer at the same time. We have had a computer burn out from being left on a bed and not getting sufficient ventilation. This is the perfect remedy. It plugs right into a USB port to turn the fans on but the construction of the pad is such that the fans don't even need to be turned on. They are there if you have a laptop that runs warm but usually they are not even needed. All kids in our home are prohibited from taking the computers into their room without a lap top desk and this one is preferred favorite.

I was a little skeptical of the quality of this at first because of the affordable price, but my laptop has gotten sooo hot that I've gotten burned by it before. My laptop has gotten so hot that it affected the function of my hard drive and I recently had to reload and start over but ever since I've used this my laptop doesn't even get warm. If you want to not spend a lot and need something that will keep up with your laptop than I very highly recommend this.I also questioned the durability of this cooling pad but right away when I pulled it out of the packaging I was pleasently surprised with the durable feel it has and not to mention when I turned it on for the first time I question if it was even on for how quiet it is.

Love this little thing, but it is cheaply made, so if you're toting it everywhere with you or using it heavily it might not be the best choice for you. The LEDs and fan on the bottom two fans don't work for me on full blast (they flicker and make a grinding noise), but I can turn the notch down just a bit so it's essentially on high without any issues, so that problem is menial. In addition, there is some noise after about 10 hours of use on the top right fan. Doesn't bother me terribly though. All in all, keeps the Mac cool and does its job.

Works great... I purchased this cooling pad after reading many reviews of others and this one. I needed to replace a 2 fan cooling pad for my 17" laptop. I use the laptop on my lap while watching TV and it would get very hot even with the current 2 fan cooling pad .... I immediately felt how much cooler the computer was and my lap doesn't get so hot, in fact, I actually feel cool myself!!!! Good product, glad I purchased it...

I have had mine now for YEARS and had to review to state how durable, long lasting. Perfect size, would buy again if needed. Have had now two years plus and like brand new. Totally keeps area cool and laptop never feels warm or hot. Great, Great Product! Love the blue lights by fans when turned on!

My perfect purchase !! I have used this for over a month with no problems. My laptop fits perfectly on this cooling pad. It arrived in a box in one piece, nothing to assemble. Just plug the USB to the cooling pad and then plug into your Laptop USB. It has 4 large fans that keeps my laptop cool. I have it connected at all times. Probably helping extending the life of the CPU. Great product. Excellent price too.

Have had no issues and have had for over 6 months or so. Very pleased. Will definitely purchase again when I need another one. People who mention noises, I noticed if I had it on the floor (carpet) it made noise, but once I put it on a hard flat surface, the noise stopped.
