Good value for money
I'm no printer fanatic but it does the job and does it well. Summary points: Ink that comes with it lasts 72 pages (I did some in colour, some not). Bit loud but prints swiftly. I've used the scanner manually and printed downloaded pdf documents from my phone, and two words: very easy. Allows you to make sizing readjustments and other alterations though the phone as well. Connecting to Wi-Fi and device was the only speed-up I hit when setting it up and was resolved in no time Getting it up and running: Initially I was having a struggle setting it up? Im no stranger to I.T. but went to various different videos after the manual tested my imagination for what buttons they were referring to 0_0 After some trial and error, I pieced the info together to figure it all out (biggest and only issue really was connecting it). Worry not though, after some thought, I got it up and working and it's been a breeze to use since (though just know I haven't had it for long). Word to the wise - Why I struggled to get it sorted: My fault in installing it was not searching for said printer to connect to on my phone, RIGHT after it pressed the 2 buttons *for abt 3sec - its all in the instruction vids on YouTube*. If the waiting period is too long it may not pick up on it. :) Final remarks: Too early to gather whether it will stand the test of time or not and it's a pity it doesn't print double sidded, however the ease of use when set up, timing and general functionality is the proof in the pudding. So far it's been great value for money and if you need an affordable printer in a pinch, this one is looking pretty good! :)

Lovely Compact Printer
I was so pleased with this printer when it first arrived. I was able to set it up easily and the print quality was really good for my needs. I was printing documents periodically, so it did not have a huge amount of use before I encountered problems. Suddenly it stopped printing and I had a number of technical issues. I contacted the technical helpdesk and a couple of obvious suggestions were made eg: switch off printer for a minute and reconnect, turn off broadband to see whether the machine reconnects and resumes printing. This did not solve my problem. The technician offered to resolve my issue by taking control of my machine, but in this day and age this is not something that I was comfortable doing and there was also a subsequent cost associated with this service. Again this made my very nervous. After much investigation I was able to resolve the issue myself. This is the only reason why I’ve given it 4 stars, otherwise it would have scored 5 stars

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VALUE!
I was absolutely amazed at the price of this HP printer, I only paid £28,00 for it and that included 6 months FREE INKS! And there’s no limit on how many you want/need! I wanted a printer that was super easy to connect my iPhone and my partners iPhone and iPad and this was one of the top ones that came up when I clicked ‘search’. I couldn’t believe the deal of free inks for the first 6 months upon registration, My partner rang up HP customer services and registered the printer and we were offered a deal for when the 6 months period had expired. For £2,00 a month we could carry on the same free inks policy for as long as we paid for it or as long as we had the printer for. The new colour and black ink sets are sold on Amazon Prime just like the printer was. And BTW please don’t try to buy copies of the inks for ANY HP printer as they are programmed to block them from being used! Not that I would as I tried to do it once with a Canon printer and it ruined the printer and never worked properly afterwards and kept leaving stripes of colours all over the pages or photos that I tried to Print off…So I won’t fall into that trap again. This is a fantastic little printer and it is made by one of the leading companies in the industry. The colours are vibrant and are a very good match to what you are copying. Photos come out exceptionally well and you would think that they had been done by a professional printer by a professional photographer! All in all I think that this is a great item and would urge anyone to buy one especially at this crazy low price! 5 ✨✨✨✨✨

Terrible experience. Probably the worst printer I've ever used.
This thing is low quality rubbish. Even at black Friday prices with about 40% off it's still rubbish. Routinely jams. Won't accept cancellation of job. Continually feeds paper into the cancelled job and jams again. Whirs continually, then stops and gives error. The only way to fix this repeating cycle is to power it off (which takes ages) and hope that it resets, which it doesn't always do and just continues to feed paper into the previously cancelled job and jams again. Often says printer is offline and so won't print, even when connected via USB... so you wait a bit and then cancel the job because it's not printing, then it tries to print the previous job and jams, leading you to have to take all the paper out, feed the stuck piece through, power it off and restart the whole process again, for which you'll be rewarded by more jammed paper and more inability to cancel jobs. The print quality is ok from CMYK to glossy paper, save for a thick mark at about 20% grey across every page. It doesn't understand how to print off-white—just ruins it. Print quality to non-glossy paper is rubbish. Print from RGB is heavily over saturated. The service from InstantInk is pathetic. I signed up for it on the 27th Nov and the ink arrived 7th Dec... took them 9 days to put my ink in the post. Considering that the selling point is not running out of ink this is unacceptable as I was out for 10 days. I actually bought some ink from Amazon 9 days after signing to InstantInk and the Amazon delivery came before the InstantInk delivery did. Yep, it's that bad. The service also counts misprinted pages and jammed pages, which is the vast majority of what this printer delivers. For example, tonight I've tried to print 4 photos, and after 2 hours I've managed to print 2, but HP has counted 15. No idea where it's got the other 13 from because there's no prints anywhere. The printer also randomly chooses to print an additional page at random times, which is of course counted as well. They charge you for the free service: without HP+ you get 2 months of instant ink. I chose the £0.99/month package, and upon signing up they charged me £1. There is no decent way to contact anyone about anything... you only get access to an incompetent chat bot. What they've done here is put a whole bunch of nonsense and unnecessary tech into a printer before getting the basics right. In fact, I'm thinking the whole purpose of this printer is to lure you into the subscription service, which locks you into using only their ink for the lifetime of the printer. You also don't own this printer, HP does, because if it's not online it refuses to print—doesn't matter the ink you're using; retail, InstantInk, doesn't matter, if it's not online it doesn't print. This printer is a joke. Don't buy this printer. Don't support this company.

All good
I was in half minds to get a laserjet but a colour laserjet is seriously expensive, so I went for this. It did take some time to setup as the installer failed to set the presets up correctly and I could only print for the app itself (the quality is poor to average) but once I could get it to work with Photoshop, the prints look great. The instant ink approach can be ok if you use a fair amount of colour, if you don't then perhaps you may prefer a laserjet but I will be printing a good 40 or 50 pages of colour pages so the price is fine for me. They also included 6 months free ink which is an added bonus as that adds up 18 pounds, so the printer was about 20 with that bonus. The software seems ok, it does have an annoying tendency (when I last used the app a year ago) to keep saying your printer is offline and needs to be connected ... really, I don't leave my printer on all day and night, a total waste of power. The scanner is fine as well as the copy functionality. Overall, happy with the purchase as long as I use the colour printing ... it will hopefully be ok for the occasional book label (yet to try that)

3 months extra free ink quote code: q1mcjq
When registering for the free ink plan anyone is welcome to use the code: q1mcjq to get an extra 3 months free on top of the 6 months included with the printer. The code can be used by anyone to start an ink plan & get 3 months free. Don’t forget to put it in the promo box before you complete checkout as you can’t go back afterwards and claim it. With the price of cartridges it is well worth registering for the ink plan and claiming your 6 months free ink (9 months with the code). Plans start from as little as 99p per month which allows you to print 10 pages per month. I chose the £2.99 plan for 50 pages per month. Pages you don’t use are carried over monthly. During the free ink trial you can print 700 pages per month and as you can see how many pages you have used it’s a good time to see if you have chosen the correct plan. You can change or cancel at any time. You get sent your first set of cartridges when you register. I bought the computer on 11th October and have already received my second set even though the first are still half full. They definitely make sure you always have ink. On to the printer…. This is my first printer, I needed it to run from my iPhone without the need for a computer. It had to be easy to set up. This printer is just what I wanted. Out of the box you just had to remove some packing tape and plug it in, all steps were clear on the included paperwork. Then download the HP Smart app and follow the instructions. The app found my printer first time. I’d printed my first test page half hour after unboxing my printer. Couldn’t have been any simpler. I had a backlog of things I needed to print out & so far I’ve printed just under 500 pages in three weeks, thank goodness for the free ink!! I haven’t had any problems at all. I’ve sent work to the printer whilst I’ve been out & it’s been waiting for me to pick up when I got home. You can set it to private pick up & it won’t print until you are there to pick it up, very clever. Really happy with my printer and extremely happy with Hp Smart Ink plan and will recommend to everyone.

HP 26K72B DeskJet 2710e: When Printing Feels Like a Comedy of Errors!
Pros: Sleek White Design: The printer's sleek white design is like a snowy oasis in a sea of office chaos. It's almost too good-looking for a printer, making you wonder if it accidentally wandered in from a high-end furniture catalog. Compact Confusion: The compact size is a pro if you're into minimalist office spaces. It's like having a printer that subscribes to the "less is more" philosophy, even if "less" sometimes translates to "where's the paper tray hiding?" Instant Ink Inception: The promise of 6 months of Instant Ink is like a siren call for the thrifty. It's almost enough to make you forget the printer's quirks and dance a frugal jig, imagining the money you'll save on ink. Cons: Paper Muncher Mayhem: This printer occasionally channels its inner Pac-Man. It's like expecting it to print your document, but instead, it decides to have a snack on the corner of the page. Unpredictable paper munching: not a feature you'd typically request. Wireless Whimsy: The wireless setup process is like trying to teach a cat to fetch. You think it's going smoothly until it suddenly decides to ignore your commands. The printer plays hard to get, leaving you questioning if you're in a tech power struggle. Ink Houdini Act: Despite the 6 months of promised Instant Ink, the ink levels seem to perform a Houdini act. It's like magic, but not the good kind. The ink disappears faster than you can say "abracadabra," leaving you questioning the printer's commitment to the ink subscription. In Conclusion: The HP 26K72B DeskJet 2710e is a printer that dances to its own rhythm. Embrace the sleek design, navigate the paper muncher mayhem, and let the printer's wireless whimsy add a touch of unpredictability to your office escapades. It's a printer that might not take printing too seriously, but hey, who said office life couldn't use a bit of comedy? 🖨️😅🤷♂️ If my review printed a smile on your face, consider tapping that helpful icon. May the helpfulness be with you as you navigate the quirky world of office printers! 🌟👍
