I have very sensitive skin and have a fairly long list of various products (soaps, detergents, lotions, creams, perfumes, etc) that I cannot use due to experiencing a negative reaction at some point. When I tried Essence of Argan's Caviargan for the first time, I experienced a slight burning sensation on my skin. Though mild, I decided to discontinue using Caviargan and gave the jar to my mother. This review is based on her use/opinion of Caviargan.My mother, while sympathetic to my skin sensitivity issue, was absolutely THRILLED when I gave her my jar of Caviargan! lol. She was SO excited to try it. Later that night (on the day I gave it to her), she blew up my cell phone with text messages gushing and raving about Caviargan. She had just tried it for the first time and was so very pleased. She said she loved the way it felt when she applied it to her skin. It went on smoothly and her skin just 'drank it up immediately'. (her way of saying it absorbed quickly into her skin) She was already familiar with and has used some of the ingredients in Caviargan, including retinol, Vitamin E and argan oil. But she had never heard of using caviar to moisturize and protect skin against UVA and UVB light. (In all honestly, neither had I! ) She even mentioned liking the scent of Caviargan as well. She and some of her childhood friends meet monthly for lunch to talk and catch up. They finally resumed their monthly lunches last week after being on hiatus due to COVID-19 and the 'stay at home' order in our area. She texted me from her lunch and informed me 'the girls' jokingly asked her if she had plastic surgery during 'stay at home' because she looked a good 10 years younger than the last time they'd seen her! She told them its because she uses Caviargan. I've not seen her since I gave her the jar but she insists her wrinkles are not as prominent and her skin is nice and soft. My mom has every intention of continuing to use Caviargan after she finishes the jar I gave her. She loves it and swears by it.

This is Essence of Argan’s premium skincare product. While its serums come in quite utilitarian yet serviceable bottles, the packaging of this Caviargan Cream is exquisite. Along with argan oil, this cream also relies on effective Hyaluronic Acid in its Sodium Hyaluronate form. Known as “the salt of the acid” it is highly respected and effective for helping in removing fine lines. The challenge with most skincare products with Hyaluronic Acid is knowing just how much you are getting. Drugstore brands often provide a modest .25 percent while products with at least 1% provide clinically proven benefits. The ingredients list of another Essence of Argan serum I reviewed contains less than 8,000 daltons, considered to be a low molecular weight that nevertheless can have a lasting anti-wrinkle effect. At the time of this review, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid for this product is not currently listed here or at the company’s website. However, it is fairly high up in the ingredients list.One ingredient may be concerning to some. There have been reports of uncommon reactions to phenoxyethanol being quite rarely linked to eczema and strong allergic reactions. Phenoxyethanol use is often strongly discouraged by safe cosmetics advocates to be used around infants including those who are breast feeding. Those who wish to learn more and make the best personal decision regarding this ingredient may consider doing an online search for “phenoxyethanol safety. Given this uncertainty, this is one reason why it is always important to consult your dermatologist first before embarking on any new regimen.

This is a thick and heavily scented facial cream with directions to apply day and night. Orange fragrance is noted on the box but the scent is a more complex perfume—and it lingers. And although it is subjective whether a particular fragrance is pleasing or not I prefer face creams to be either unscented or lightly scented because ithey are applied in close proximity to my nose so there is little escape from the scent--but this is not an issue for all.And although very thick the cream spreads reasonably well and absorbs within a couple of moments without having a greasy or sticky residue. The ingredient list begins with water and aloe vera Leaf juice and a variety of other components like hyaluronic, peptides, retinyl, argan oil, caviar extract along with shea butter. Additionally there are an assortment of botanicals like green tea leaf extract, chamomile flower extract and olive leaf extract. The cream does a good job hydrating my skin and it looks healthier.

As with most people on social media I'm really into skin oils and essences right now, something I can tap onto my face with my fingertips or roll on with my rose quartz roller that's lightweight and absorbs quickly. This goes on smoothly, smells fine, and is easy to spread around and leaves my skin feeling dewy and moisturized. The only issue I have is the weight of the product, 10 minutes after using a skin oil my face feels supple but all of the products have absorbed entirely. With this my face feels heavy like the product isn't fully sinking into my skin just sort of resting on top. No breakouts or reactions to the skin after using it which is nice, but I'll stick to my skin oils.

I really like this face cream a lot. It contains some really good ingredients including retinol. Just a reminder, if you use products containing retinol make sure to use sun blocker since retinol makes you more sensitive to sun.This facial cream comes in a very beautiful jar and even though I am not a fan of jars this one is very beautiful. The cream smells very nice and has a beautiful scent to it that I really like. This essence of argan is very creamy yet lightweight and absorbs very quickly into your skin. I felt it left not residue on my skin. My skin felt very soft and smooth when I used this cream.I for one really like this cream because it just makes my skin look and feel fantastic. It feels so moisturized. It has all these great ingredients that are just good for your skin. I for one can only recommend this one!

This is very nice and goes in nice and leaves no greasy feeling. It kept my skin feeling moisturized. I did not see any difference as far as wrinkles or anything but it was nice on my face

I used as a face cream on wrinkles. Caused a bad burning sensation. Would not recommend.
