Throttled Special Edition (Dirty Air Special Edition)

This book was utter perfection! The storyline and plot weren't rushed and were kept in a nice place throughout. Everything about this book was perfect for me.I think my only critiqued be that I wish the book was longer as I absolutely fell in love with Naoh and Maya! Will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series.

So this book series was advertised on tik Tok quite a lot but I was always unsure if I wanted to read the books. I love romance and spicy books. But I’m not into F1 car racing. However, this book didn’t disappoint and was actually a quick and easy read to get through. Not sure why it had me so hooked. Maybe Noah and his quirky playboy attitude just really spoke to me. We l love a bad boy? Even when we wish we didn’t. Especially a bad boy that we can turn good just for us. It was great seeing the character arc as well and watching Noah grow as a person because of maya but also because he wanted to change and not repeat his own parents mistakes. Toxicity cycle ended!!! And it was also great learning about the F1 world. Kind of makes me want to start watching it and getting into it.

I absolutely adore everything about this book. The story, the characters. The spice is just right its not too much. I finished it in one sitting! If your a F1 fan then I highly recommend this book as it was just an absolute amazing read and would definitely read it again.

I love Lauren, I’m such a fan of her books but I think because I read this after reading her more recent work I didn’t enjoy it as much… it’s still phenomenal and in a way I can really see how much her writing has improved in the last two series!Still I’m an F1 girly through and through… and I’ll forever be swooning over grumpy Noah!

3.9 ⭐️ but imma give it 4 stars since i binged it (i moved halfway through the book so yes 9 days was binging it for me)this was recommended to me by my booksta friends Han and Fran and i buddy read it with the lovely Fran 🫶🏼 buddy reading it made it that bit more enjoyable for me. i don’t think i would’ve picked it up otherwise, not because i didn’t like but because it just never was on my radar/i wasn’t excited enough to want to read it.the writing can be super cheesy at times, like to the point where i had to put the book down for a while so i didn’t get frustrated and DNF it but me and Han had a laugh over the corny lines and she told me i had to see past them. i’m so glad i did because i really enjoyed the overall story and i NEED to read about Liam and Sophie!!!Noah grew on me and i guess that’s what Lauren Asher wanted because good god i was so close to launching the book a few times due to him. Maya on the other hand i loved from the get go. she is just a super easy to like character that i could relate to (not about the F1 brother stuff… i wish)overall it’s a super cute read you could easily get through in a day or two! but BEWARE it will make you obsessed with F1 and Charles Leclerc… *currently stalking his insta*

Just everything about this book was perfect, I was hooked from the word go. If you love romance and F1 this is the perfect book for you!

Wow. I've never been a big fan of reading but I recently decided to try and get into it and wow I'm glad I did! This book is filled with drama and romance that I've never read in another book before. The way the story has been told with so much care and thought it really helps to paint the picture and make it so enjoyable to read, I've loved this book so much I didn't want to finish it, I tried to drag it on as long as I could. I can't wait to read the next books in the dirty air series and the dreamland billionaire series Lauren is a really talented author and I really recommend her books they are very well written.

Being a F1 fan I knew I would love the Dirty Air series before even reading it lolI love Maya and Noah and their quick-witted banter. I like how Maya was ballsy and knew her worth despite being in her brothers shadow. Noah is your classic playboy and when Maya made it clear she won’t be a one night stand I was fist pumping saying ‘you go girl’ lol. Noah goes through a major character development in the story, yes he made a mistake and I was actually upset with what he did but as you go deeper into the story you understand why he is the way he is and slowly start to sympathise him. I’m glad Noah decided to seek help and becomes the man Maya deserves. The story is funny, sweet and spicy

Okay, this has been on my bookshelf for about a year and wow, I’m so glad i read it. I only starting reading sports romances last year, and hockey is the only sport I’ve read and I do love it. But this, might be the best sports romance I’ve ever read. The sport is actually evident throughout the entire book, I felt like I was on the race track, I knew nothing about racing before and it definitely wasn’t a thing for me, but wow. I feel like the story was enhanced because of how well written the entire theme, being F1 racing, was throughout the entire book. Everything else I’ve read is just the romance with a side of the sport, this was so well written and the story kept me wanting more. I didn’t get bored at any point, and I kept wanting to know where the race and season was going to go next. I also love that this wasn’t just a fall in love within 2 weeks kind of romance, this was an entire year, with all the ups and downs, which gave time for a lot of personal growth and development to occur. The characters are a chef kiss, I loved the sass and banter, the relationships and friendships built. I understood and related to Maya so much in not knowing what comes after college and wanting to have time to figure herself out and make mistakes. Super well written and truly beautiful!

Never heard of Formula 1 (don’t hate not a sports person) but this book is great. I have the others in the series in my cart for the next round of purchases

O que falar sobre Lauren Asher ( suspiro)kkk. Comecei a ler a 4 dias e já terminei o 3 livro da autora.Essa história é fofa demais, amei ver a Maya se descobrindo e Noah evoluindo. Para mim a construção foi um pouco rápida demais e sem grandes “problemas”, tudo se revolveu bem depressa sem maiores emoções. Geralmente eu gosto de mais drama. Mas eu gostei mesmo assim, mal posso esperar para ler toda a sequência.

The story was a mix of all the worthwhile emotions starting from fun to heartbreak. Maya and Noah are the best kind of trouble that are perfect in ways beyond description. They have thousands of reasons to not give in to the simmering attraction they find difficult to contain but at the end of the day love knows no boundaries. Noah did mess up initially but that man actually knows how to make up for it. Maya's bold attitude and Noah's flirting are the highlights of the book. A good read!
