I ordered by Amazon Chicken Katsu Curry with Jasmine Rice for 1, 380g as a treat for myself. I love Japanese food and I was curious to try this ready meal. I was impressed by how delicious it was. The chicken was tender and crispy, coated with a spiced breadcrumb crust. The curry sauce was creamy and flavourful, with a hint of coconut and ginger. The jasmine rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the edamame beans added some crunch and colour. It was a generous portion and it filled me up nicely.The product was well packaged and delivered on time. It was easy to cook, just microwave it for 20 minutes and enjoy. It was also suitable for vegetarians1. It had a lot of vitamins and minerals to support my health, such as vitamin C, B6, B12, A, D and E2. It was also low in fat and salt2.I would recommend this product to anyone who likes chicken katsu curry and wants a quick and easy meal for one. It was a great alternative to ordering takeaway or cooking from scratch. It was authentic Japanese and I liked it3. I will definitely order it again4.

Really fast and enjoyable meal
Takes a few minutes in the microwave and it’s done, tastes great, nice and easy. What more could you want! Definitely recommend

Doesn't cook in less than 5 minutes - and it needs an oven
Nice enough, but a real faff. You need to remove the chicken and oven cook for ~20 mins, the rest goes in the Microwave for 4 minutes.

This is definitely one of my favourites so far. Great taste. Good portion size, and brilliant value for money. Will be buying again.

Not bad...
This is better than Wasabi's fully microwavable version. The Katsu chicken needs to be oven cooked separately for 20 minutes, but I think it can't be helped. It comes out with a nice crispiness. The product picture shows some green vegetable in the meal... there were none in mine (hence -1 star), my attached picture shows my own vegetables with the best display I could manage with serving from the carton. I also added 10ml water to the rice before microwaving, it looked dry. The container can be reused as light tupperware, all the stickers peel off easily. As far as taste, it's really good, this is all I want from an instant Katsu curry. Not bad for less than £4!
