Lots of space. Not waterproof, but water resistant
My son has just moved to secondary school and needed a big bag! In terms of space, this is great. There are 2 very large compartments and loads of other pockets of varying sizes, which he loves.The waterproofness of the bag was tested on his first day when the heavens opened at the time school finished. He was in the torrential downpour for 5 mins and the rain did get his books slightly wet (got in through the zips I believe). However, the bag isn't marketed as being waterproof, so I wasn't surprised at this.

Back pack bag.
This is a great bag to travel with. Even when full, doesn’t feel heavy to carry on your back. I put into this back pack a weeks worth of clothes, shoes ect. The card / money zip on the front strap is great for convenience. 100% a great bag. So impressed, I bought the husband one!

Excellent Quality and Well Made. But the Headphones Socket Hole, Needs to be Be Changed.!
This 18inch Laptop Rucksack is indeed Large enough to place an 18inch Laptop inside.! I've tried it and it will fit easily inside.! Stitching and Straps and Carry Handle are very well made.! My Only Bugbear is the Headphone Hole at the Top of this Rugsack.! I fear Rainwater will enter through this Headphone Hole.! This Headphone Hole should be put Alongside the Charger Cover On The Side of this Rucksack. As there are Smaller 17inch Rucksacks that have the Headphone Socket Alongside the Charger Socket and with the Same Protection Cover from Rainwater.! This Headphone Socket Must be Changed to Prevent Rainwater from Entering the Headphones Socket ! If the Manufacturer is Reading this Comment, Please Take Note.! Otherwise this 18inch Rucksack would be Absolutely Perfect.!

Alright but..
The backpack is perfect, has a lot of storage the only issue I have with this backpack is there's no cushion at the very bottom of the backpack, so when you put the backpack down with a laptop in be careful...
