Highly Recommendable
I've got this Item on time. I really like this amazing high tech Ceiling fan, the modern wood fan blade and silver handle combination looks elegant and beautiful. It has DC motor LED light that available in 3 options from warm, cool and full light really. so perfect. It's really so amazing for it has 6 fan speed using only remote with timing function so very hassle free while using it. I really love the concept of this item that it has DC motor that runs the fun in summer mode and winter mode. Lastly, it works great, quite and the installation is so easy. Overall, the price is not too expensive for having this very high value features. Thank you for this item satisfied customer here.

Silent, stylish and very bright light
My fan was installed yesterday, and so far it’s wonderful. I love the style, the light is very bright but has options for warm light, it was a good option for winter in Dubai instead ac.

Love how quiet it runs
This was a great purchase.......it is the most quiet and efficient ceiling fan we have ever owned. Although the electrician installed it as part of our four season sunroom project. he had no issues with it......the remote controls all functions very simply, it can even be set to run for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours then auto clicks off.

Great ceiling fan for the price
Like:- The DC motor. I plan never to buy a unit without one. They are silent and powerful and use much less electricity. The Energy Star rating on this shows $4/year for electricity.- The unit is well designed, and relatively easy to install. But plan on at least an hour. And having two people really helps. If your ceiling isn't set up for a fan the prep will be the big part of the installation. If you aren't confident as a DIYer or aren't just replacing another ceiling fan, you might want to hire a professional.- Six speeds, choice of light color. We use 4000K lighting through the house and can set this to 4000K.- The light is plenty bright.- The 1H, 2H, 4H and 8H timer buttons. I hope they work. I will find out later today.Dislike:- Even though the fan is in a room that is 22x26, it is unlikely that we will need to use anything other than the lowest of six settings. Setting six would be more appropriate to power an airplane than move air in a room, or maybe just to be able to advertise the power of the fan. So keep setting six as it is, but dial down the other settings, making the current setting 1 the new setting 2.- To change the temperature (color) of the light, you have to press the light ON button, then OFF button, then ON button until you get your choice of the three colors. I should just be able hit the light button again, without turning it off each time. Or better yet, just have a switch that has the three lighting temperatures settings on it so you can set it and leave it.- The light can't be dimmed using their setup out of the box. I am not sure if it wold be possible to set the light portion on a dimmer switch, but it would require some additional electrical know-how or willingness to taking a risk with trial and error.- The advertised distance from ceiling to bottom of the light are wrong. Try 14" rather than the 9.4" advertised, using the short extension. The 8000 degree K light color temperature is also wrong. I think they just added 3000K + 5000K to get 8000K, but that is not how it works. The third setting 'full light' (which appears to be the same brightness) matches our other 4000K lights.- The company label, proudly displayed, did not match my taste. Fortunately it is just glued on and can be removed.- The 1H, 2H, 4H and 8H timer buttons, while a nice feature, give no indication that it is set to timer other than a beep with initially pressed.- Using the controller is a bit of a guessing game (or maybe the instructions tell you how to do what). I used instructions for installation, but assumed that the controller should be easy enough to figure out without reading a manual.Yes, with all the dislikes, I still gave it 5 stars. I really like the fan and can learn to live with the flaws.

Quiet fan! Looks nice. Could be better
Installation instructions not great as other reviewers stated, but once installed, a VERY quiet and smooth fan. Really the quietest (ceiling fan I’ve ever had. The lighting and remote, however could use some functionality improvements:1. Every button press makes a beep. Turning on makes a beep. Why all the annoying beeps? Need a way to turn that off. Ironic that such a quiet running fan makes so many nuisance beeps.2. Why do these LED lights cycle through the different lighting temperatures? Do people really want different lighting every time they turn it on and off? I like the idea of having a choice, but to cycle every time you turn off and on is annoying and makes it seem cheap.3. The globe is cheap plastic, reminds me of a disposable milk jug. Nice and light, but makes the light seem cheap. Glass would be nicer. With some remote feature improvements, could be even better. But if you want a quiet fan with 6 settings, and don’t care about cheap LED strip-type lighting, and are handy wrt installation, this is for you. For $150, I personally expected better.

Quiet and moves a lot of air
Update 20210717 at bottom:Was doing a fan refresh in the house and was looking for something simple to go into the bedrooms. The main consideration was being DC and having a remote that wasn't garbage would be a plus. I came across the Ovlaim, a brand I hadn't heard of previously, and the price was right to test with. I was able to purchase 3 fans for slightly more than the price of one of the major brands. As usual per Amazon, the fans arrived quickly and with no damage to the boxes and I was pleased to see that they looked fairly modern in person as well.Pros: - Price. For being DC, these fans were a great deal since most of the major manufacturers would cost closer to $300 per fan.- Noise level. When running, the fans are nearly silent.- Style. These look fairly modern with the brushed nickel housing and dark wood blades.- Remote. It's nice to have the option to directly choose a speed or have a timer to turn the fan off.- Light. Having an integrated LED is great since it's one less bulb I have to worry about and the light is a very clean white, which I have been moving towards.- Installation. It was an interesting installation as the power cables are wired into the ceiling mount and then there's an easy remote controller plug that goes into the other side. No need to cap wires.Cons:- Plastic light housing. There's no real way around this, the light cover looks like cheap plastic. I knew it was going to be at the price but it kinda cheapens the overall look. Leaving it off is not an option as the LED ring sits under it which would look worse.- The beeps. Each time you hit anything on the remote, the fan beeps. It's nice to know the key was registered but it's a bit loud and can be jarring in the middle of the night.- Fan speed. This thing moves a lot of air even at the lowest speed, I've not had to turn it higher than 2 and it goes up to 6. Sometimes I'd like to it have a setting just a little lower than the current '1'.- The installation. Since the power goes right to the mount, there isn't a lot of wiggle room and because it's almost at ceiling level, there's not a lot of space to work with. Also make sure to have a small flathead screwdriver for this. All the screwdrivers of that size I had were phillips head and I had to make due with an eyeglass repair kit screwdriver.Overall, really pleased with the fans. Each installation went quicker than the last since I understood the requirements. Once they were up, they worked well and move a lot of air. Even though these are only 48" models, I think they could cool down a fairly large room if turned up. When it's time for another fan in the living room or on the porch, I'll definitely look at using Ovlaim again.Next project will be to get a Bond home bridge and see if I can get these fans tied into Alexa. If that works, I'll update the review to let everyone know and if there are any major issues.Update 1 20210717: The box came with a note to review and send a screenshot for a gift. I did this and they sent out a wall socket with shelf. This did not reflect my review on the product, just wanted to let people know that I got a bonus item out of the initial purchase.I also purchased a Bond Bridge to see if the fans would work with it and I'm happy to report that they do! I have an Echo Show in the kitchen and the bridge like 2 feet away and use it to control the fan in the office. The app setup was fast but adding in all the functions from the remote took about 10 minutes as you have to hit the button as the bridge waits for the signal and then confirm. I got bored after a few programs and didn't add in the longer off timers since I don't use them, especially now since I can control the device via voice. This didn't address the problems I had with the fan initially but gives a nice option for adding smart home features without having to purchase a fan with the module built in.

Easy to Install & Great Airflow
Already installed two of these in my house and they work great for a 10x10 through 12x12 room. Light output is decent but for the price it’s easy to install & easy to use. Only thing I dislike is the beeping from the control unit.
