You owe it to your feet
The Timberland Helix safety toe Pro Boots is the ONLY boots I use. I’m a electrician I’m on my feet all day every day on my knees toes etc… The Helix has to be the best boots that I have. It’s a little rough with the break in period but after they are fantastic. The Anti-Fatigue that they advertise when I purchase my first pair I was like big whoop that’s just a sales gimmick well I was wrong. When I’m on my feet for 12hrs and see my coworkers taking off there boots and I feel I can go another 12hrs I think that tells it all. All I do to take care of them is clean them and coat them in beeswax leather care once a month and they come looking like new. I have a pair going on three years and still going I had a gouge in the safety toe so all I did was get the rubber coating product issue resolved. You know how it is once you find that one pair of boots you stick with them. Theses will be the one pair

Very heavy duty
Only thing that bothered be was how easily the leather got cut or scratched, but otherwise a great boot. Very heavy duty. Your toes will be very protected. Decently comfortable. Not extraordinary, but not bad either. After wearing them a few months, they squeak when walking on tile floors which is annoying. I would recommend these shoes to protect your feet if you work around heavy things that can fall or jagged edges.

30 day comfort misleading
these are my 4th pair. Love them.. The reason Im giving it 2 stars is because of the 30 comfort fit guarantee. I received these boots as expected and i tried them on. they didn't feel as comfortable as the last 3 pair but i figured they would brake in. well it only got worse. I called timberland to try to use the 30 day guarantee but since i got them on Amazon and not in a store its like jumping through hoops to return them. the man said that this brand may not be covered even though a 30 day guarantee came in the box attached to the boots. plus i didn't get a store receipt since i got it through amazon. i am kind of out of luck.. i may try a different boot company that will stand behind there product. i am a contractor who is hard on my boots and i always liked how they felt. They don't last any longer than a cheaper brand they just look better. maybe i should go with price and not the big name.. then if they don't stand by it then i will be out less money. long and short of it .. you should probably buy them from a store so you will have a face to talk too. if they helped me i would have given 6 stars

Cheaply made. No longer the top quality they were before.
A long time Timberland customer, we will no longer purchase this brand. My husband's job is very physical with a lot of wear. Previously, his Timberland boots would last a full year or even 2 before new ones were needed. This time, the boots have not held up, given my husband a lot of pain and just are not the quality they used to be. Huge disappointment.

Absolutely the best.
I needed a composite toe work boot for my occupation as an Reactor Service Technician. I do a lot of standing over extended periods of time so it was imperative that I had a comfortable and durable pair of boots.First off, the fit is spot on, or at least it was for me. I prefer to wear these over any of my shoes. It took about 1 week for the boot to fully conform to my foot and ankle but once it did I could hardly notice it's existence. I have only just started to notice internal wear on the back in the heel but it's just barely noticeable so time will tell how far it erodes.A really nice feature is the top shackle which allows you to just pull the string up and over it to tie it and vice versa for untying. Trust me, this is very handy after spending 14+ hours in these, albeit a comfortable 14 hours, but after that amount of time my feet want free and getting out of these is a 10 second process. The grip is phenomenal, I have stepped over black ice at all sorts of angles to test it and while it slips the slip is predictable and usually short lived. There are some rugged splines in the arch of the sole which are very well engineered and I found them awesome for climbing ladders. The boot itself is visually pleasing, when I look at other guys footwear I never have any regrets. The only downside is that the toe of the boot is prone to wear, but I feel this is usually the case for any leather material. So I don't hold it against the boot or manufacturer. All in all, I love these, and when the time comes will probably stick with the same brand for my next pair.

Great boots and would buy again.
These are high quality boots. I have used Timberland PRO Titan safety boots in the past and they are relatively light weight for steel toed boots. Once you break them in a little bit they are very comfortable and can hold up to some punishment. I'm sure they would even last longer if I did my part and kept them clean and treated with mink oil or other waterproof leather protector. I just use and abuse and they hold up well and have protected my foot when a heavy oak log rolled back on me. Without the steel toe I'm certain I would have been in a lot of pain or possibly broken my toes. I like the comfort so much that I wear them a lot even when I don't need the safety toe protection. I did however just order a different pair of Timberland Pro's for around $65 (Amazon) that is the non-safety toe variety.

Great boots.
These are really nice work boots. I believe this is my husbands 6th pair. He purchases 2 pair a year. He works outside a lot and on his feet half the time. They are comfortable and help keep his feet dry when it rains. The only problem we have is that this pair did not have insoles in them. That's a first. Never saw a pair of shoes that were sold without the insoles. These were shipped very quick and they were a good price, but since we had to buy insoles they weren't any cheaper than the stores which we usually pay $158 for.

No their best effort.
Construction of the boot is fine. What I did not like is the minimal amount of lace holes and only one speed lace hook. I don't know all the proper shoe terms. This makes for an uncomfortable feel on the top of my foot and shin.If I was constructing this boot, one more set of holes and another set of speed hooks would be added, similar to the other pair of Timberland I had purchased in the past. Live and learn.
