Product arrived before expected.... Hurrah! Am going through it quickly... I am having to share with the birds... these are perfect for sharing with little bitty ones... chickadees, golden crown sparrows and towies... all flock to our side yard and sit and beg in the Rhodde bush... we throw only bits down and appreciate not having the mess... they get a little funny when I eat a bit of it from my hand, too... I am thinking of adding it to my bread the next time I make some. Since I'm gluten free, that may not be so long from now.... they are tender, fresh and great for humans who love to snack on great seeds or add them to their food... they are the best for our bird friends, but have to spray the squirrel with our water gun to keep them off the seeds ... or they are hovered up in a second.... it becomes an interactive play time to feed the little birds because we work to keep them from all going to the squirrels. We have two nice quart, glass jars and a smaller pint one that we keep near the window... of course, all with lids to keep the spills down. We find it easy to pour from the product's bag that is attractive and the right stiffness for pouring. We have been able to fill our two quart jars and the little pint one about twice now and we're not quite 1/4 of the way through the bag. I hope the price and quality stays the same because I'd like to stay a customer. Thanks for the work it took to make this product possible. I'm not willing to go back to sunflower seeds with shells as that leaves such a huge mess. These are perfect for human and bird friend. Never feed your birds on the ground and then walk off as the local cats are always on the hunt here. We keep a bright blue water sprayer nearby for squirrels or cats. I recommend these seeds.

Now I know why a lot of reviewers say "WOW!" I never thought to check that this might contain sulphur dioxide, and since I de-toxed out a lot of sulfur from all the antibiotics as a kid, I don't purchase dried fruits that contain sulfur dioxide, so I won't be purchasing this again. I give it four stars because it contains some tough, not pliable pieces. One reviewer said "unchewable" and I was surprised at how tough it was. Then I tried a smaller piece and it was also tough. Then thirty minutes later I decided to give it another try and found some softer pieces, so it is a mixed bag. I intend to use this in Persian rice recipes and for flavoring teas - I think you could almost substitute it for whatever recipe calls for raw ginger - it's that strong. and pieces are beautiful and beautifully packaged too, and a great price for all that gingery heat. However it would probably get FIVE STARS for PURE GINGER HEAT it has going for it. It can give you the sweats if you eat enough of it, and you can't eat a lot of it at one time. Imagine chewing on a raw piece of ginger - almost that much heat, but the sugar does mellow it out a bit. So for medicinal value it certainly rates five stars, but then again candied ginger is supposed to taste like candy, right? Well, you won't be offering this up to guests. Order the Delish brand "SweetGourmet" if you want a more candied ginger that is soft and sweeter, and you could eat a lot of it at once, but then that is only 2.5lbs for almost the same price, and this is 5lbs. This will be my cooking go-to ginger and I will order another bag of a different brand for out-of-hand snacking. Then again, I might get used to this over time. By reading the reviews, maybe I just got a tough, hot batch of ginger, because others say differently about this ginger, but this is the latest batch. UPDATE: The sugar is hygroscopic and I find the slices are getting softer after the bag is opened and exposed to moisture in the air. So personally the only reason I will go with another brand is because of the sulfur dioxide.

This is my third try to find bulk raw shelled sunflower seeds I can afford. These are so superior to the other brands, in taste, freshness, smell, seed size. And the bag seemed bigger than other brands saying there’s was a 5 lb bag. Very happy. Will buy again.

CAN YOU SAY YUUUUMMM?! Oh wow! These things are AMAZING! We've tried ginger from other companies, and honestly, these are THE BEST! It's ginger so it has a twang to it so I wouldn't just pop them in my mouth like popcorn if I were you, unless you're one of those folks who isn't bothered by anything spicy....and these aren't spicy, but they do have that twang! But eating these one at a time is totally fine. And after you've had a couple, a few minutes later you're wondering where the rest are ..... because you ate them and didn't even realize it! LOL! Soooo gooood! These are my new go-to for ginger snacks, and my new go-to snacks in general! Love the crystallization on them. So yummy. We bought two 5lb bags, and at first I thought it would be too much, but we are plowing through the first bag and it's just the first day! Will be buying again!
