There are some differences among Jeep model years. The master cylinder in my 1990 YJ looks a little different, but this fit without too much trouble. I removed the rubber boot and applied a smear of grease to the pivot point, otherwise there is no grease. Bleeding went fairly easily. You can leave the line cracked open at the master and allow gravity to bring the fluid downward, then tighten up the top connection and bleed out the air. One problem I did have is that the old line had a different flare angle to it. I tightened the life out of it to seal, but you might be better served by replacing the line.

It solved my clutch problems, along with a new slave cylinder and a new pressure plate. I had to replace a leaking line but everything is good now!

I wouldn't buy again. Very cheap, the cap is a very poor design.

Works as advertised. Installed on '87 Jeep Wrangler 2.5l. Installation took about 20-30 minutes and another 20 minutes to bleed out clutch.

I receive an obviously previously used master cylinder with nut marks present, clutch fluid in the reservoir, and grease marks. The spring was either missing or completely broken and the shaft was wobbling.
